When cubox is configured to run wifi, it takes 60+ seconds for it to start up with no network cable plugged in. Where as when I plug in a network cable to the network port it will start up under 10 seconds. Hardware: Cubox-i4 Pro Running Ubuntu Trusty image found here: http://www.armbian.com/cubox-i/ Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm trying to use desktop community build for Windows dev kit 2023 but it is not working. Current image: Armbian_community_24.8.0-trunk.554_Wdk2023_noble_wdk2023_6.7.0-rc6_gnome_desktop.img.xz When using etcher to flash to usb, it will flash but fail at validation step say "Cannot validate, the image could be corrupt" or something like that. If still use that usb in WDK, it won't boot. The lite version Armbian_community_24.8.0-trunk.554_Wdk2023_bookworm_wdk2023_6.7.0-rc6_minimal.img.xz is still working fine.

I am using your Debian (wheezy) on a SolidRun Hummingboard-i2eX. uname -a Linux cubox-i 3.14.14-cubox-i #2 SMP Mon Aug 31 19:36:11 CDT 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux In /dev, it looks like there are two IMX serial devices: ls -l /dev/ttymxc* crw-rw---T 1 root dialout 207, 16 Feb 4 2001 /dev/ttymxc0 crw-rw---T 1 root dialout 207, 19 Feb 4 2001 /dev/ttymxc3 I can send/receive data from /dev/ttymxc0 (uart1) by using pin 8 (Tx) and pin 10 (Rx) of the 26-pin header on the board. But how can I access /dev/ttymxc3 (uart4)? Is there a pin somewhere on the board that I can connect to so I that I can send serial input to uart4? Thank you.

Hello, I deployed the latest image "Armbian Buster mainline based kernel 5.8.y" and after initial setup, I cannot activate the analog sound card. What I did: The "Hardware" section in "Settings" section of armbian-config was missing, so I installed the following packages: "linux-dtb-current-sunxi/buster 20.11.0-trunk.28 armhf Linux DTB, version 5.9.5-sunxi, linux-dtb-dev-sunxi/buster 20.11.0-trunk.28 armhf Linux DTB, version 5.10.0-rc2-sunxi" and after that changed: /boot/armbianEnv.txt by adding overlay_prefix: "sun8i-h3". This was the only way I could make armbian-config to correctly display the "Hardware" device tree. I tried to put: i…

Hi, I just tried last Debian iso from solidrun where bluetooth is working. It is the only issue I have with my Cubox-i 4x4 working with debian from armbian. But there is always a but..... I can't copy the system to the hard drive and make it work after reboot, only works from sd card. So my point is How can I use the benefits of armbian (it's tools) on another iso where drivers look work fine? thanks.

Also I would like to comment I can't make work chromium, getting all time a white page with a "Aw, Snap" message. Any idea about how to fix these two problems?

I've tried two releases of Armbian for the Jetson Nano and was struggling to get SPI enabled on the Jetson. This post is, more or less, a continuation of something I started here, but adapted to Armbian. I will start with an overview of what I have done (maybe this is relevant) and finish with my questions. What I've done: I have a Hummingboard Gate with a Mikrobus RS485 click 3.3V (this one: https://www.mikroe.com/rs485-33v-click). In order to make this work I need to change a few things in de device tree. The dtb that my board uses is 'imx6dl-hummingboard2.dtb' so I copy that file to my home directory for safe keeping. cd ~ sudo cp /boot/dtb-4.19.18-cubox/imx6dl-hummingboard2.dtb . Then I convert this dtb to a dts: sudo dtc -I dtb -O dts -o im…

Hey guys, since noone seems to care at the solid-run forum, I ask here. I would like to compile SDL2 with opengles and vivante support. I've installed the drivers from this post http://forum.solid-run.com/linux-on-cubox-i-and-hummingboard-f8/about-opengl-drivers-and-binary-blobs-packages-for-t2013.html With both versions of debian (armbian and the official) ./configure can't find these drivers, all I get is "dummy" for the video driver. With arch linux there were no problems at all, it worked right out of the box. Does someone have a hint for me. This is my last hope. Thanks in advance McCarthy

Hi all, I was an early adopter of cubox-i (and cubox before) By that time I was able to install Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS server and use my cubox-i to host owncloud, resourcespace, phplist, roundcube and other applications. Now I would like to upgrade (using another sd card) to Armbian_5.38_Cubox-i_Ubuntu_xenial_next_4.14.14.7z Everything seems fine, except the fact that I can't import mysql data from mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.54, for debian-linux-gnu (armv7l) to mysql version 5.7 (skip one version is not supported) Do you have any suggestions ? Thanks a lot

Hello good people, I recently started "porting" linux to my Huawei mate 9. Its one of those projects plagued with silly issues and a sad lack of docs and unreliable hearsay. I was hopeful someone may have started something similiar, or maybe commit logs/discussions from when Hikey960 support was added. Ive found commits but praying that maybe more exists. I just have a handful of basic questions, most unfortunately involve things like the android bootloader. Which partitions related to boot can safely be replaced with non signed images, how do i stop fastboot from combining the appended dtb with those in dts partition. Hi, I installed Armbian on a Cubox 4x4, I realize this was designed for a different board, but in general it works. But I found there was a problem with the system clock, it kept booting up with the time: Thu 01 Jan 2015 10:07:23 AM CET After some investigations, I found that this board has two hardware clocks: /dev/rtc0: Thu 01 Jan 2015 10:05:17 AM CET -0.616496 seconds /dev/rtc1: Fri 13 Nov 2015 08:23:47 AM CET -0.603090 seconds It looks like rtc1 has a battery and survives reboot, but /dev/rtc0 does not. I tried both of gcc-10 and gcc-9 to build it, but failed with below error: edid.S: Assembler messages: edid.S:274: Error: cannot represe…
