Hello, i'm succesfull using an armbian image from a long time. Now i compile a new image with the dev kernel (linux-sunxi right?). The problem is that, if i boot the new image the system hangs here: Spoiler U-Boot SPL 2017.11-armbian (Apr 12 2018 - 15:09:59) DRAM: 1024 MiB Trying to boot from MMC1 NOTICE: BL3-1: Running on A64/H64 (1689) in SRAM A2 (@0x44000) NOTICE: Configuring SPC Controller NOTICE: BL3-1: v1.0(debug):c9f55c0 NOTICE: BL3-1: Built : 15:09:28, Apr 12 2018 NOTICE: DT: sun50i-a64-pine64-plus INFO: Configuring AXP PMIC NOTICE: PMIC: fixing DRAM voltage from 1.24V to 1.36V INFO: PMIC:…

  2. Hey folks, I have a really weird issue where any time I try to `cat` any of the cpufreq files or use any of the cpufreq commands, it just hangs indefinitely. I've made sure that everything is up to date, reinstalled cpufreq, and because I have 2 of the same board, have confirmed that it's an issue with both of my Zero 2s. I also ran `strace` on one of the cpufreq commands and found that it's getting hung on a write step: openat(AT_FDCWD, "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor", O_WRONLY) = 3 write(3, "ondemand", 8 Other than this, the device has been doing just fine. Any advice on this is welcome! OrangePi Zero2 Armbian (24.11.1) aarch6…

  4. Armbianconfig on OrangePi Win shows dev and next kernel branches to switch to. When selecting next for instance the following packages would be installed: linux-image-next-pine64 linux-headers-next-pine64 linux-u-boot-orangepiwin-next linux-xenial-root-next-orangepiwin The image and headers dpkgs are not present in the repo (http://apt.armbian.com/pool/main/l/) though, so update fails. The suggested kernel image from https://www.armbian.com/kernel/ (linux-image-dev-sun50iw2) is also not present. Even the installed kernel (linux-image-pine64) is not present in this repository So i'm confused. Am I looking at…

  5. I built an Ubuntu current image, as of commit f15f594d0bd4ad1e5d0fa412f1d25120e76e4f9a (Armbian-unofficial_26.05.0-trunk_Bigtreetech-cb1_noble_current_6.18.20.img) and started my newly arrived Pad 7 from it. Things that work out of the box: display, touchscreen, wifi, USB. Not working: LAN is not visible at all (only two wlan interfaces). Also, no audio device. According to schematics, audio is taken from HDMI output, so it should be supported by standard HDMI drivers. Where do I enable it in kernel config? https://github.com/bigtreetech/Pad7/tree/master/Hardware your hints will be appreciated. smar…

  6. Not sure if this has been reported - the usual way of enabling spi overaly "overlays=spi-spidev and param_spidev_spi_bus=x" seems to be broken and when an overlay fails at boot time, it tries to load the base dtb from /.../alllwinner/allwinner/*, note the extra allwinner in the path - so it fails. The pin definitions for the Euler SPI are wrong. When you manage to get both SPIs up. SPI 0 is being enabled as spi1.0 and SPI 1 being enabled as spi0.0. It also fails to merge board neutral ili9341 SPI definition files (at boot time) that has always worked on H3 and H5 boards. To work around for now, use the following ( spi0.dts, spi1.dts) to get the spidev's up …

  7. Hello, I have two Orange Pi Zero 2 for two years, I didn't know what to do with it. Yesterday I have installed Armbian_25.5.1_Orangepizero2_noble_current_6.12.23. The serial was a bit buggy during installation (display + key press), I have used option -L with screen: screen -L /dev/ttyUSB0 115200 Thank you for your great work !

  8. Is it possible on a Banana Pi M4 Zero to reboot Armbian running from SD card, so that the next time it boots from the internal storage, without removing the SD card? (and without modifying sdcard boot sector) I want to create an automatic backup internal storage - so that the system (booted from emmc) reboots, starts from the SD card, backs up content emmc to sdcard, and then reboots again, booting from emmc. Is it possible some how?
