We are opening public testing for upcoming Armbian images. The goal is to verify that the right images are built and that basic functionality works before boards are moved to the main download pages. You don’t need to be a developer. Simple testing and short reports are enough. 1. Download testing images Testing images are available here: https://fi.mirror.armbian.de/incoming/igorpecovnik/ Pick the image matching your board and choose desktop if applicable. Once image is confirmed working, the board will be: Moved to the main download pages Added to Armbian Imager 2. Check that expected images exist Before testing, please ver…

Preparation Supported build environment is Ubuntu Focal 20.04 x64 (minimal iso image). a guest inside a VirtualBox or other virtualization software, a guest managed by Vagrant . This uses Virtualbox (as above) but does so in an easily repeatable way. Please check the Armbian with Vagrant README for a quick start HOWTO, inside a Docker , systemd-nspawn or other container environments (example), running natively on a dedicated PC or a server (not recommended), 20GB disk space or more and 2GB RAM or more available for the VM, container or native OS, superuser rights (configured sudo or root access). I know this is not the correct area (I have no permissions to post there) but i'm looking to add some basic support for Odroid N2 (and a mainline linux kernel) which others can help utilise for development purposes. Its very early stages as the board was released to testers only weeks ago and for the moment only vendor uboot is working so what is best practice here for Armbian? The old Odroid C2 way of things with uboot might some back for a bit as much as I would like it or not. Baylibre and Neil Armstrong have made a very good start (Thanks Neil!!!!) with alpha style patches for 5.0 and N1. Although there priorities will be working to impleme…

Armbians board support philosophy leads sometimes to frustration. Cause this topic came up from time to time in various threads. The aim of this thread is to summarize all those discussions and have them 'in one thread'. Current situation: There's no strict rule what is needed for getting 'armbian support' neither to drop support for a specific board. 49 boards are supported, 8 are WIP and 13 are deprecated. Supported SoCs: i.MX6, A20, A33, A64, H2+/H3, H5, ARMADA 388, RK3288, S805, S905x, Exynos 5422, WIP SoCs: ARMADA 3720, RK3328, S5P6818, S905, Opinions: I'm sure, I don't catch all opinions here, but instead of merging from various …

In order to make armbian better, we need your help with testing. Why? there are simply too many boards to handle, there are task which can't be automatized, there are bugs which are not seen from our perspective. What kind of tests? booting, user creation, updates, upgrades checking if basic supported functions work: video, audio, network, wireless, AP mode do nasty thing to your board and report. How to test? Download nightly images from here. You want to test image which is not there? Add those two parameters with desired targets to board's config and create a pull request. and / or cha…

On Which image can I test? Any How? Go to armbian-config -> System -> Nightly and proceed. If this option is not there, defreeze upgrading Restart and after your system is up, proceed to one of those areas: - desktop install from armbian-config on top of CLI (any board) - set first_run_network configuration, setting ip within /boot/armbian_first_run.txt (any board except Espressobin) - kernel switching or upgrade (any board, especially Odroid XU4 NEXT) - setting fixed/dhcp network with armbian-config (any board except Espressobin) - configure frame buffer within h3disp utility (any h3 board with a legacy kernel) - DTS s…

I managed to write H3 HDMI driver for mainline U-Boot. Source can be found here: https://github.com/jernejsk/u-boot You should also add CONFIG_VIDEO=y to defconfig for your board. It should work nicely for standard resolutions (720p, 1080p). Other resolutions might work, but some additional work needs to be done. Currently, this can be used for working with U-Boot (instead of serial console) or splash screen.

I'm writing from a limited perspective, so constructive criticism appreciated. In this thread, I'm recording some thoughts about how the OS gets from files into the memory of various boards, and what might make this more unified and easier and/or more flexible. Current U-boot My knowledge comes from the mvebu64 and rockchip64 families. At this time, the board boot process starts from code in the processor that attempts to find u-boot, and u-boot runs a script from its environment that searches for a UEFI application or a boot.scr file. They call this "Distro-boot" Armbian uses the boot.scr to load an uncompressed kernel image and a compressed initramdisk, alo…

From Armbian documentation (https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Allwinner_overlays/) Most in-circuit and GPIO based interfaces (SPI, I2C, I2S, …) don’t have a mechanism for detecting and identifying devices connected to the bus, so Linux kernel has to be told explicitly about the device and its configuration details. While Device Tree is a way of describing hardware configuration to the kernel, Device Tree overlays are a way for modifying the DT in order to provide the kernel and kernel drivers with details about external devices or to activate interfaces disabled by default. What do we want? We want to add Device Tree overl…

Earlier today I pushed a fairy large patchset containing various functional improvements of many boards. If you have Allwinner board and some spare time: 1. Build DEV image/kernel with https://github.com/armbian/build (you need to add EXPERT="yes" to the config to unlock) 2. Install DEV kernel from beta repository Optional Defreeze kernel updates Switch to nightly kernel (armbian-config -> system -> Nightly) Reboot Switch to other kernel (armbian-config -> system -> Other -> DEV) When board came up, do some exploration. Most important information is to find out if there is a regression toward ker…

[Ended] Be active, creative, helpful and you can get a powerful board in return. First give away batch is starting 11.6.2016 It's not often that you can work on a software project that actually brings joy and helps people. Armbian is one of those project. It is a system that helps one build a kernel or boot images for several ARM development boards. It's in common interest that we improve level of support and to relieve most active people. Our crew needs an upgrade: we need more coders, kernel hackers, UX designers to find and solve problems. If you are one of them, join our forum, join project at Github. we need properly built, packed and supported desktop wit…

Let's first recap from the other thread : And here is Zador's first reply : And my first reply : Now, here is my latest investigations : Both H5 and A64 doesn't probe RTC driver successfully, explaining why dmesg doesn't mentioned it (I hate driver which are not verbose on failures !) But, why H5 doesn't react the same as A64 ? I will have to wait until issue re-appear to dig further in /var/log/syslog , maybe tomorrow ! BTW, Zador, the -EINVAL seen on "date" command is only shown when symptom occurred, not after reboot... (let's wait tomorrow to see) As I said, I suspect "systemd" compatiblilty issue here. BTW, each time the issu…

It's a good idea, but it still leaves a question of loading u-boot and kernel/script.bin/initrd initially. If SPL doesn't want to boot from available SD card this won't help much... ... unless FEL is used to "bootstrap" the process. Just for experiment I compiled sunxi-fel for Windows and installed libUSB driver in single click with Zadig tool. So we could provide an application/set of scripts for Linux and Windows to do this.

Hello everyone First congratulations for this project. I just started playing with it recently and I am very impressed. Good job! I am the developer of NextCloudPi, which basically consists on providing Nextcloud images for the Raspberry Pi, but has evolved to other flavours such as docker x86 and docker ARM. It also features many scripts for managing the instance that can be run from a classic whiptail like TUI or a simple web interface. The initial goal of the project is to drive as many people away from dropbox into selfhosting, so there's also a Wizard and I try to ease the process of DDNS, certificates and so on. I am a…

Hi all. I have a Rock64 board with 1GB RAM. I downloaded this image https://dl.armbian.com/rock64/Ubuntu_xenial_default_nightly.7z and I wrote it on the SD card (Samsung EVO 16GB) using both Etcher and dd command. But when I power the board, all 3 leds light up and remains on, nothing else happens. I have the same behaviour with the 0.6.0 stretch-minimal image downloaded here https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-build/releases The only images that works are the 0.5.10 downloaded here https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-build/releases/tag/0.5.10 What's wrong? I can exclude problems with power supply (I bought the one they sugges…

I think we should do exactly the opposite. As soon as the author realizes that his codebase has begun to create stable images for the family\branch, he can invite the most active members of this group to test and fix bugs. That is, errors, changes must be made in this branch. While the master should remain stable and not create problems for the current work.

A while ago we added some logic to set LINUXFAMILY=sunxi in /etc/armbian-release and this breaks completely the IRQ affinity settings in /etc/init.d/armhwinfo (prepare_board function). Sunxi boards upgrading to 5.35 get slower with some use cases unless a fix in 5.36 is provided (though I've no idea how the fix should look like) It seems board support packages on apt.armbian.com have been built a few days ago not containing latest fixes. Is this possible?

The topic of Stretch came up in the Odroid C2 Mainline testing thread, and turns out we don't have a thread about making Stretch available. I've done some testing with several boards using the Upgrading Debian Jessie to Stretch thread and had great success. But, I wanted to start a discussion about what is needed to get official Stretch support in place. I have several projects where I need to use Stretch instead of Jessie, so I'm exited to help try and contribute where I can. I also wanted to discuss the idea of possibly making two stretch images: one using systemd and one using openrc (which is supported in Stretch). 99% of the work is identical, the only ma…

I'm using banana pi M1 plus and armbian legacy kernel. I wanted to use uart0(ttyS0), uart2(ttyS1) and uart3(ttyS2), so I tested those three uarts with an echo server in banana pi and a program sending a data in a PC. When I tested uart2 and uart3, I was able to get the data that I had sent without any problem. For the uart0, however, there was some error messages. I was also able to get the data, but I want to deal with the error message so that I can prevent any future problem. It seems that the error is caused because the ttyS0 is sending some console messages. I've found some articles about getting rid of console output from ttyS0. Most of them said to modify …

However I now get the error "could not resolve 'ports.ubuntu.com'" when the build tries to install ping_5.1-1_arm64.deb (full log below). Do you have any idea what this comes from and how I could solve/debug this ? You have a build framework that works pretty good, is it out of the question to have an extremely simple configuration framework? Maybe framework is more advanced than needed, probably just a script? It it doesn’t need to be part of the normal build process but could just simply inject a configuration profile into a completed rootfs, image or actual sd card Just the basics: Single network manager profile hostname default user and pass serial console config log2ram status remote login status (ssh, xrdp) I don’t mind writing a simple v0.1 to get started

'Upstream' the idea to ship OS images with Firefox/Iceweasel has been dropped in the meantime due to horribly low performance in favour of chromium-browser. As far as I understood that's partially related to firefox acting single threaded (while Chromium uses all CPU cores). Here's longsleep's latest config and the mostly accepted 'fix' for Chromium complaining about running insecure due to missing sandboxing is disabling exactly this. (that's Hardkernel's method to 'fix' Chromium on ODROID-C2). Users will be happy with a fast(er) browser not throwing annoying error messages at them they click away without reading them anyway and surfing the web on Pinebook wi…

Ubuntu Server edition doesn't use the fundamentally limited Network Manager for a reason. For any kind of semi-complex networking configuration, (say VLANs, bridges, per-network firewall rules, any kind of policy based routing and so on and so on). Also, conversely on little, largely headless servers with static network configurations, Network Manager is a big, bloaty and intrusive process that adds boot time and complications. Just recently I have struggled hugely with difficult to replicate networking issues. I thought (and Network Manager reported) that NM didn't touch the interfaces specified in e/n/i. Turns out not to be the case. Is there an…

Hi - Would it be possible to switch dev builds to 5.8 rc kernels? It looks like megous is already prepared for it ( atm rc1 ). Certainly I do realise the massive work filtering DT duplicates and applying fixes, etc ( the usual ) does come in here ... But rgd H6 this 5.8 kernel should hold important additions rgd: CPUFreq (DVFS), IOMMU, and MsgBox ( as well H3,H5 ) Therefore kindly requesting to skip 5.7 in dev and go straight for 5.8 which allows +/- two months of testing wich should be perfect for upcoming "Caple"-release in August.

Hi, Thank you for your interest, you won't be disappointed. You have probably read that the developer want to do some changes - and some of this changes are now ready to get tested in the BETA's of armbian. Do not test with your 'production' SDcard unless you have done a backup ;-) Once done that, please go to 'armbian-config' System switch to BETA (Nightly), do an update/upgrade, reboot, check if your system still performs as before. If it does work like before - please let us know and post your 'armbianmonitor -u' link If it doesn't work, please try a reboot, check if the problem is reproduceable and if so explain the s…

In my opinion ntp should be replaced by chrony. Benefits of Chrony include: 1. Faster synchronization requiring only minutes instead of hours to minimize the time and frequency error, which is useful on desktops or systems not running 24 hours a day. 2. Better response to rapid changes in the clock frequency, which is useful for virtual machines that have unstable clocks or for power-saving technologies that don’t keep the clock frequency constant. 3. After the initial synchronization, it never steps the clock so as not to affect applications needing system time to be monotonic. 4. Better stability when dealing with temporary asymmetric delays, …

From time to time I searched for a somewhat precise power meter that produces not only a simple visual output but data that can be integrated into a monitoring system (be it RPi-Monitor, SNMP or something else). The ODROID Smart Power looked somewhat promising but was rather expensive and seems to be sold out in the meantime. Zador told me some time ago some details about different ADC measurements with Lime2, I checked this some days ago when combining Lime2 with a H3 board and am now thinking about simply using a Banana Pro to be used as such a power meter since I'm currently preparing measurements of a few H3 boards to arrive soon (see for some preparations this th…

Simple library for 128x64. Works fine with SH1106 1.3" OLED and OrangePi Zero (4.9 kernel). You just need to activate I2C interface by replacing "disabled" with "okay" in device tree file (or in the fex). Connect display and test with "sudo i2cdetect -y 0" (or 1). If your display has 3d address instead 3c, change OLED_I2C_ADDR parameter it in the oled.h. Enter "make" to compile and run demo with "sudo ./oled_demo /dev/i2c-0". This library was written by Sonal Pinto for Arduino and ported to Linux by Vladimir Komendantskiy. I just wrote functions for text drawing and add three little fonts. This library only can draw text at X Y with specified font and draw cu…

Current main Armbian build hardware is a desktop based "server" running Ubuntu Xenial - i7 4790 / 16 / SSD. We already made lots's of optimisations within the build process but for 140 images I still need up to 14 hours where kernels were already cached. How is it possible to cut this time down significantly - to few hours, perhaps on a server grade hardware and further code optimisations? Currently I don't have access to any much better hardware to just run "build all" and see. I am looking for specific ideas for a build server upgrade and sponsored rent / exchange for advertisement. I was already advised by a friend, who knows something about server hardware: "J…

Since I've been asked recently why Armbian doesn't ship with F2FS by default I thought let's have a look again what to gain from F2FS (a filesystem specially designed for use with flash media by Samsung few years ago). For a history of F2FS discussion please use the search function: https://forum.armbian.com/index.php?/search/&q=f2fs Armbian fully supports F2FS partitions for a long time now but we don't provide OS images with F2FS for a couple of reasons: F2FS still doesn't support resizing so our default installation variant (ship with a minimized rootfs that gets resized on first boot automagically to the size of SD card / eMMC) wouldn't wo…

I found these two line, if test "${console}" = "display" || test "${console}" = "both"; then setenv consoleargs "console=tty1"; fi if test "${console}" = "serial" || test "${console}" = "both"; then setenv consoleargs "${consoleargs} console=ttyS0, 115200"; fi and changed it with those two lines below. if test "${console}" = "display" || test "${console}" = "both"; then setenv consoleargs "console=tty…

I've started the work of switching SUNXI-DEV to 5.6.y, as usual, few DT duplicates and fixes ... But I've faced also a big change related to 'file_operations' been changed to 'proc_ops' in all places over the kernel, which cause that all our EXTRAWIFI needs to be fixed. I hope to get it done by the end of this evening ...

Hello, the new kernel versioning scheme consists of the latest git tag and several hashes: https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/lib/functions/artifacts/artifact-kernel.sh With boards like odroid-xu4 for which the upstream git is only updated occasionally, this leads to two problems: 1. the generated version is lower than what is currenty getting shipped: `5.4.228-S3043-De511-P0a53-C0750H6842-Bb436` vs `23.02.2` 2. it cannot be guaranteed that the versions go up reliably: 5.4.232 is `5.4.228-S3043-De511-Pc02c-C0750H6842-Bec1c` and 5.4.233 is `5.4.228-S3043-De511-P0a53-C0750H6842-Bb436` While I can understand using the kernel versi…

I have an orange pi lite and I'm building my (dev 4.10) image using the Armbian tools. So far I figured out how to enable the DT overlays located in /boot/dtb/overlays by editing the armbianEnv.txt file and adding overlays=sun8i-h3-uart1 sun8i-h3-uart2 sun8i-h3-uart3 sun8i-h3-i2c0 sun8i-h3-spi0-spidev This now enables the various uart, i2c and spi ports I wish to use and that works. I'm trying to now set up a ADS7846 Touch controller using DTB I have copied the file from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/raspberrypi/linux/rpi-4.4.y/arch/arm/boot/dts/overlays/ads7846-overlay.dts and run dtc -I dts -O dtb ads7846-overlay.dts -o /boot/dtb/overlays/ads7846-ove…

There is another topic with answer for desktop case. But how to rotate the console screen, when there is no desktop? The suggestion about change in kernel parameter - fbcon=rotate:<number> didn't work for me (edited boot.cmd, compiled with mkimage command, and I see boot.scr changed ) and I was unable to change the /sys/class/graphics/fbcon/rotate file - it stays unchanged.

Hi, I am using mainline 4.10.0-sun8i and to enable I2C I added: overlays=sun8i-h3-i2c0 to armbianEnv.txt and rebooted, then I checked: cat /proc/device-tree/soc/i2c\@01c2b400/status and still found that it was disabled, I feel that I may be missing a step, like having to compile armbianEnv.txt into the config script, is that so? Just to make sure it wasn't working, i changes the pins to I2C using: sunxi-pio -m PA11'<2>' sunxi-pio -m PA12'<2>' BTW. sunxi-pio has very few code comments, did not specify the field order and finding which bits to flip in the H3 data sheet was annoying, did you want me to fix and submit a pull …

Hi Armbians, (If this question is already asked/answered please help me find the link.) I need the "ceph" and "rbd" kernel modules for my orange and banana pi. I am starting with the most recent images released: Armbian_4.5_xxxx_Debian_jessie_4.2.3. What are the minimum required steps to build the additional kernel modules? Where is the source tree for that kernel build (4.3.3-sunxi)? I would prefer to build directly on the PI (as opposed to x-compile) but either is ok. I tried a few things, including git clone of Igors "lib" project with build scripts. Runnig that pulled a kernel source tree: "sources/linux-vanilla/v4.3.3" which I am able to use to…

ROCK64 is a RK3328 Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 board with up to 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately it has a non-functional RTC (/dev/rtc0), which is not battery backed. If your board is not connected to internet 7/24, you can not use the NTP or systemd-timesyncd. Therefore you need to connect a battery-backed external RTC module to the ROCK64 header, and get the time via the i2c protocol. The good news is, the GPIO headers on ROCK64 is compatible with Raspberry Pi headers. Therefore almost any Raspberry Pi RTC module will work on ROCK64. But you need to do some tweaking to communicate with the RTC module. I will explain the required steps which worked for me. 1. Buy an e…

Hello, for quite some time I have noticed that it seems impossible to build just the kernel, an image is built every time. I am using the following command: ./compile.sh BOARD=odroidxu4 BRANCH=current RELEASE=bullseye BUILD_MINIMAL=yes BUILD_DESKTOP=no BUILD_ONLY="kernel" KERNEL_CONFIGURE=no USE_CCACHE=no KEEP_KERNEL_CONFIG=no DEB_COMPRESS=xz Additionally, output/debs seems not to be cleaned, despite documentation indicating this should happen with default CLEAN_LEVEL. Am I doing something wrong? Or does documentation need updating? Thanks!

I was able to get RTL8188FTV $2.00 US USB wifi https://www.ebay.com/itm/123713550193 working with a script I made from a forked project. The power saver has already been disabled in the Makefile. Check out https://github.com/sgjava/rtl8188fu/tree/arm. I've tested this on ARM 32 and ARM 64, but not x86 or x86_64. This is currently a dkms module that requires beta repos to get matching kernel headers.

I would love to see a guide on how to create a virtual machine for Armbian which would be great for testing in VMWare Workstation, Player or Virtualbox. It would be similar to the diet pi vm which autoboots into the qemu (I think) for the Raspberry Pi If someone has a rough guide on how to do it I can make something noob friendly. My guess is you need to install qemu, add some repositories and then get it to autoboot using rc.local or something like that. Any resources on how to get started would be much appreciated.

I know most of you probably don't want to hear any more about this chip, but I recently fixed quite a few long standing issues. It's not perfect yet, but it improves scanning/reliable reconnect, incoming frames missed in powersave, ping times, and rate selection. Here's the patch set: https://github.com/fifteenhex/xradio/pull/12 Edit: rebased from karabek: https://github.com/dbeinder/xradio/commits/karabek_rebase And some important comments about powersave: https://github.com/fifteenhex/xradio/pull/11#issuecomment-616226880 In short, relative to the current version, with powersave on, idle consumption is lower by 200mW, but with powersave off, it is 300mW hig…

recent days I find Chromebook may be better Arm devices with laptop form factor. compare with Pinebook pro, Chromebooks are cheaper, and mass product, and better tested. why no much people discuss how to install 3rd OS to its internal emmc, or reflash its uboot? I have searched on ArchArm forum, only 1 topic. but there actually a way to reflash uboot, and mainline uboot already has support for arm based chromebooks. It should be easy, but why no discussion?

I found an old bug report on the same version of wicd that is delivered with the legacy builds. Try to authenticate WPA for wifi, get bad password error. Repeated attempts to authenticate as many as 10 times before it is successful. It will finally succeed, therefore; the password is not bad. https://bugs.launchpad.net/wicd/+bug/1084380 A short summary includes, there seems to be a problem in the wpa_supplicant that causes it to occasionally take too long to return from an authentication request. wicd rev 1.7.2 is set to wait 35 seconds then times out and reports BAD PASSWORD, when it should have reported a timeout. The suggested fix was to allow user config for …

Issue identified by Hardkernel folks with ODROID XU4 and 4.9 kernel: 'When a bunch of sequential data(inode) is being sent to the UAS driver, the UAS driver is increasing the DMA block memory allocation dynamically for more efficient ring-buffer management. But the Kernel coherent-pool memory size was limited at 256KB by default and it was not sufficient for the UAS drivers.' I added this as a temporary workaround to my OMV installation routine but would like to see this fixed on normal installations and also all affected boards too. I've to admit that I neither know how to determine coherent-pool memory size nor what potential downsides of increasing this are…

Hello everyone, I wanted to propose that the q8 tablets be included in the compilation script, I have several q8 tablets, at the beginning I used my own rootfs, but armbian is fantastic !! counting the modifications I make to the armbian rootfs I think it would be easy, in the firmware repository you already have the majority of hardware such as 8723 and other Wi-Fi chips, with respect to the uboot the templates that already incorporate the main repository work almost perfectly, no I know, could I help, I have the components, the dtb and the compiled uboot, how do you see it? I wish you all good health. Using the "Armbian" build system, I noticed two bad points: 1 - incomplete cleaning of the source code before starting a new compilation, seen when patches add new files to the tree. 2 - Debian kernel source package includes the git directory. 1) All I do I'm fixing the version kernel (KERNELBRANCH="tag:v4.14.40") and collect several variants for one Board, changing the patchset for each version, adding or removing some. Before each new compilation I'm doing a test of the purity of the source. clean_repo() { display_alert "clean_repo $PWD" #git status -s git reset --hard HEAD # First, return the modified f…

EDIT: After discussion with a few users, to avoid the issue of having this modification wiped out by a future DTB update and create the unfortunate scenario where the /boot/armbianEnv.txt requests to load a DTB which no longer exists, it's a lot simpler to overwrite the original DTB thus keeping the naming identical. If the DTB gets overwritten by an update then the reboot functionality may just revert to the no-reboot behavior until the fix is re-applied to the newer DTB. The problem lies in the SDCARD signals not being in the right state for a reboot. To solve this we will de-compile the DTB in /boot/dtb/amlogic/meson-gxbb-odroidc2.dtb to create a source ver…

Hi, After 2 tests with recent images (5.77) with debian stretch for s912 (balbes ilmages) and dev image for pineh64, I get the same issue when configuring locales. I selected fr_FR.UTF-8 in armbian-config and I also ran manually dpkg-reconfigure locales and locale-gen, but I ended each time to default locales settings (ANSI_X3.4-1968). Only the LANG variable is set to fr_FR.UTF-8 and all LC_XXX variables are set to C. To solve this issue, I have modified manually the /etc/environment to set LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8. Does anybody else have this issue and is it specific to debian? With a 5.75 stretch image the locale configuration worked well.

I am still working on patches so they are not online yet, but you can try first build and compare to old kernel. Download deb package (dpkg -i linux-image-sun8i_5.07_armhf.deb) Patches regarding thermal, video mode changing and camera are missing. They need further inspection and adjustments.

Running latest Ubuntu 18.04 for NanoPi Duo with updates as of last night and CPU governor stays at ondemand even though I set it to conservative in /etc/default/cpufrequtils and reboot. CPU frequency settings do take effect, just not the governor.

Dear Igor, I'am trying to make an image with 3.19 kernel now for a while, but I couldn't make it work. It won't boot. A few weeks ago there was some problems with the patchings, so I tried to do it manually. But it lead me to the same result. Now I deleted everything, related to the image building, and started everything over again. I noticed that your building script has been updated. Now the patching errors disappeared, but I still get the same result, a non booting image. The error says, that "File not found /boot/.next" then "File not found /boot/zImage", "Unrecognized filesystem type", "Bad Linux ARM zImage magic!", ..... Picture from it here. I tried whe…
