Hi, I bought a 3.5 inch RPi LCD display from here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32965280840.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2a474c4dxALiQy I connected the display straight to my Orange Pi zero board. The slot on the Orange Pi Zero is flipped compared to RPi so the LCD display goes outside the board. I guess that is the right way to connect. Anyway, when I power on the board I can see illuminated screen. The problem is that everything I have tried to configure the LCD was unsuccessful. I am trying with the Armbian image mentioned in this web site: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3773 (Armbian_5.35_Orangepizero_Ubuntu_x…

Hello! I'm using Wheezy under kernel 3.4.x on Lime2 with 7" LCD and i added fbcon=rotate:1 in boot.cmd and the console booted in portrait but LXDE is still in landscape. I also added FBDEV_ROTATE_CCW=90 but with no results. I can rotate the screen from the /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/XX-fbturbo.conf file but every time i touch the screen the LXDE crashes. Any suggestions please how to rotate the screen in LXDE? Thank you!

I've tried to the best of my abilities, but it seems that the current Bionic image does not support the K1 Plus wifi? Is that correct? In armbian-config there is no option to setup wireless and I cannot get the board to recognise a wlan0 device by changing the interfaces configurtation.. Is there some trick?

My friend, when he next inserted the microSD card into the Orange Pi Zero 2 slot, the microSD slot fell off the board 😞 It is not possible to solder it because some of the tracks on the board have become detached so Is it possible to run the ArmBian system on OZPi v2 with a copy of the microSD system on a USB Pendrive? I am looking for a method to run OZIPI v2 without microSD on the system via USB disk

Good day, for my Orangepi PC+ I installed Armbian Ubuntu Jammy on a µSD card. Up until Armbian Ubuntu Strech I was able to use a PCM510A for sound output. The settings for this were easy. With all updated OS after Strech, I can't install the PCM. Unfortunately, the help that was published in the forum wasn't helpful or I couldn't take it over. On the eMMC I have installed Armbian5.59 Orangepipcplus Ubuntu xenial default 3.4.113 desktop. Because of the advanced age of this OS, there are no updates and upgrades. Luckily my internet radio still works. Can someone explain to me how I can install the PCM510A at Jammy? Kind regards hajupiko49

I'm running some stress test on the NanoPi neo2 512mb, CPU heating reached 75-76 degrees, and it's stable, the problem that I faced is that the computer changed it's IP suddenly (after 55 minutes of test running), I guess it's because of a network card reset. Did anyone face the following issue? Is it related to the stress test? Or it's another networking problem? The test I'm running is with the "stress" tool, running long time stress on 4 CPUs. In addition, does anyone have any insights regarding this device? good or bad?

I configured my opi to work as a composite usb gadget (mouse and rndis). Everything works, but the actual refresh rate of the mouse was 250 Hz. I tried to configure bInterval, which is responsible for the device update frequency, this could only be done by rebuilding the kernel with bInterval changes in the high-speed descriptor structures from 4 to 1 in the file drivers/usb/gadget/function/f_hid.c. It had an effect. But the frequency only rose to 500 Hz. I tried to find what could limit this, I looked in drivers/usb/dwc2/gadget.c and also in composite.c but I couldn’t find anything. Now I don’t know where to look next or i missed sth.. drivers/usb/gadget/func…

I'm trying to use an OrangePi Zero as an Alexa device, using github.com/alexa-pi/AlexaPi. This is headless, but I need analogue out and in. Given that it's headless, I thought I'd use the mainline kernel instead of headless. Everything installs fine, but ALSA does not see anysound card hardware. aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found... I can try legacy, but I'd prefer to use mainline if possible.

Hello, long time Banana Pi user here. I have a BPI-M2+ and recently decided to write Armbian_23.02.2_Bananapim2plus_bullseye_current_5.15.93_minimal.img to emmc. I am using cat6 over gigabit LAN and am seeing scp and rsync transfers to the device averaging 1.7mb/s. Transfering an 850mb file took unusually several minutes. It starts off at 40mb/s then quickly drops to under 2mb/s. Is this typical? I would think over LAN I would be seeing much faster speeds. Untarring this same 850mb archive also took unusually long. Could the emmc be damaged or on it's way out? How would I check? Please see armbianmonitor output. https://pastebin.com/RCa…

I got that stability issues on my banana pi m1, and notice that the last kernel available on armbian still the 4.14.18. Today I also run apt upgrade on raspberry pi 3 and it installed the kernel 4.14.30 that stop the ipsec vpn working, the same as in 4.14.18 used on armbian. I feel some frustration on the latest kernel updates, and wondering if anyone have some info about the next kernel update that solve this issues. Do you advise me to change to nightly builds to get a new kernel to test? สมัครufabet Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Hello folks! I'm investigating an odd issue of the OPi R1 board, with the image Armbian_5.83_Orangepi-r1_Debian_stretch_next_4.19.38. With this version of software the board works fine, but apparently the wifi cannot reconnect after a disconnection (error: association request to the driver failed) The only workaround I found is to manually bring down the wifi interface and then back up; then the reconnect is almost immediate. I tried to disable the NetworkManager and now I'm using /etc/network/interfaces file to handle the connections but the problem still persists. I checked the issue with another R1 board and so I can exclude that the boa…

I apologize for asking such a basic question. I have recompiled the wifi module on an Orange Pi PC+ to operate in concurrent mode so it can act in both station and AP mode at the same time, allowing it to be a wifi repeater. The problem is, this feature is lost on every kernel upgrade, requiring me to recompile the module each time I upgrade the kernel. The kernel module driver often changes slightly between kernel versions, and I have to track down and fix new bugs in the source code that prevent it from compiling when concurrent mode is enabled. I'm happy with how the wifi module performs now, but don't want to lose the ability to get needed kernel updat…

SBC is banana pi M1 I tried the banana pi at church today, things went great as for the Libreoffice impress presentations but it was hard to navigate to menus because the banana's resolution was set to 1920X1080p. Everything was too small in the projector, we need something like 1280X1024 or 800X600. I tried `a10disp changehdmimodeforce 4` to change it to 720P, on the projector but display became unstable and I had to reboot to get it back. We have two modes for projector, VGA (HDMI->VGA converter cable) or plain HDMI. Today I tried the VGA but we can also do HDMI. Please help. Thanks.

I'm sorry for the lame question, I just don't wanna regret anything before buying this fan, so I'm talking about this fan (3cm x 3cm) Spoiler I want to mount this fan right below the board by just screwing it in. Do the holes fit perfectly with the holes of the opiz board ? I've asked this before on facebook but someone suggested me to just glue the fan directly onto the board but I'm afraid it'll damage the board instead.

So I'm pretty new at using serial ports in linux so not even sure if this is the right place. I'm playing around with MIDI using the serial ports on the Orange PiLite - it uses the baud rate of 31250 to achieve this you use setserial to get the base_baud (which it reports as 1500000) and you divide by the speed you want to get the divisor i.e. 1500000/31250 = 48 this becomes >setserial /dev/ttyS1 divisor 48 speed_cust So now when you use 38400 as your baud speed it actually becomes 31250.... ...in theory after some fiddling I found the divsor is actually 50 as 48 gives you weird results which would suggest that the base_baud is actually 1562…

I got a new board revision of the Olimex A20-OLInuXino-MICRO Board (Rev. J). It works with the by Olimex provided Jessie image but not with Armbian_5.25_Micro_Debian_jessie_next_4.9.7. I get no IP address by DHCP because the ethernet is not working. The reason could be an new ethernet chipset they introduced with this revision. New: Microchip's LAN8710AI-EZK(QFN-32). Before: Realtek RTL8201CP(LQFP-48) They publish a patch on: https://github.com/OLIMEX/OLINUXINO/blob/master/SOFTWARE/A20/A20-build-3.4.103-release-5/a20-phy_1000_100-dram.patch

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had been able to get this working ? And, yes i know that OPI-Win is WIP/testing. I read some stuff here & on the linux-sunxi irc log that seemed to say that it should work & I've tried the following without luck. I was wondering if someone with alittle more knowledge about this may be able to help or point me in the right direction. I also tried to compile u-boot v2017-09 but it fails with a sdram too big error I tried to backport some of the config to 2017-07 but that'll take time i expect ... /boot/armbianEnv.txt (many combinations of this) disp_mode=720p60 disp_dvi_compat…

Hello everyone! I am trying to set up a CSI camera for my Orange Pi win plus (A64). The camera is GC2035 and I have already seen it not easy with latest versions. New versions of Armbian have not CSI support and do not have drivers gc2035 and vfe_v4l2. I found you can somehow compile the driver but honestly.....I do not understand how. I know the process of ./compile.sh but no idea how to use this https://github.com/avafinger/gc2035 It says is for H3, probably not for A64 right? Looking for the oldest version of Armbian I could use, I found out on the archive this one: Armbian_5.59_Orangepiwin_Ubuntu_xenial_default_..&g…

Hi, this is not a complaint, just wondering if I am doing something wrong. When I try "any(Pine64,Sopine,Olinuxino-A64,Bananapi-M64)" A64 board with armbian 3.10.x kernel, desktop performance is quite satisfactory. Example: https://dl.armbian.com/_old/pine64/archive/Armbian_5.90_Pine64_Ubuntu_xenial_default_3.10.107_desktop.7z But when I build armbian in docker, both 5.4 and 5.6 kernels, I experience dramatic slowdown on desktop performance, even cursor is moving slowly. Here are armbian monitor logs: http://ix.io/2oW4 and http://ix.io/2oVY Here is how it looks on BPI-m64 as an exam…

Tried more times to install on different MicroSD cards, but I got the same non boot results. Just to mention that the Desktop version is working on all MicroSD cards I tried! Hello, my opi+2 sometimes dies after long running times and becomes so hot that I cannot touch it. When I looked to logs, I saw kernel panic errors like, you know, tons of meanless numbers. I can provide any information you want. It's been few hours since I started it but here are logs. http://sprunge.us/jJSK Probably it had had 0.05 15 min load before it died. I couldn't see the message I saw before, probably they got removed from the system after few minutes. I'll send you newer logs after I get accurate errors again. This may take a week, or few days.

After I got my OPiPC+ to finally boot without HDMI, it wouldn't boot in my shop. I originally had it in the bedroom because that's where a convenient HDMI TV was AND that's where the U-Verse router is. In the shop, it went through an HP Procurve 2626 switch but would hang early in the boot process. Logged into the switch and found that most ports were set to "100FDpx". I changed the Pi port to "Auto100" and within seconds, the Pi was booting. Yay! Most people won't have such a problem using ordinary switches. A year ago, I needed more ports in the shop and got a great deal on this one locally. I didn't need 24 ports or the feature set but it was $40.00. T…
