  1. Assembly is done via CI: https://github.com/armbian/community
  2. It is community maintained. You are a community member. Feel free to go ahead and fix whatever the issue is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If there even is an issue since nobody managed to provide full proper debug logs. Anyway I'd start at the place you suggested and check the code. Maybe there is an (easy) fix that could be ported. This is how open source works. Not really. There are issues existing way longer but we neither have enough funding nor enough man power to deal with all of them That's the reason why we have to give back support for certain boards into community hands to get some weight off of our shoulders.
  3. The error you get is from upstream. From Debian themselves to say. However "media-buster-legacy-rk3399" package came from Armbian apt repo for Buster which has been phased out as well.
  4. Buster, kernel 4.4.y and therefore this multimedia framework are deprecated. Also take note of Jellyfins wiki: So there is a chance that they don't work at all.
  5. Good news @everyone! Armbian 24.5.1 Havier has been released 🥳 We prepared an official announcement with the huge changelog for you: ➡️ https://www.armbian.com/newsflash/armbian-24-5-1-havier/ You can grab the images as usual at our download page: ➡️ https://www.armbian.com/download/ We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to each and everyone that helped to make this release possible! Thank you! ❤️ Cheers 🍻
  6. Not necessarily. IIRC Gnome was selected because of its mature Wayland support. So the UX might differ on other constellations.
  7. Those are summaries what the image contains. Some might be obvious, others need more knowledge, I agree. However asking is always free "gnome-oibaf_desktop" means the image comes with Gnome desktop environment and has mesa packages by oibaf ppa pre-installed which ship the most recent mesa packages available. "xfce_desktop" is an image shipped with XFCE desktop environment. "minimal" images come with the bare minimum for a running system on CLI level. Tools like armbian-config are not pre-installed, but can be installed via apt like any other software. Cheers
  8. Known issue. But thanks for the reminder.
  9. You did a reboot after upgrading, right?
  10. https://archive.armbian.com
  11. Yes. Checkout this PR and build yourself. https://www.google.com/search?q=github+checkout+pr https://docs.armbian.com/Developer-Guide_Build-Preparation/
  12. Did you do code { font-family: Consolas,"courier new"; color: crimson; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); padding: 2px; font-size: 105%; } apt update beforehand? Images usually are shipped with empty lists to avoid having outdated ones packed which also increase image size.
  13. Cannot tell for sure since I do not have this board. However I would use a multimeter and measure the voltage between the outer pins to determ which is GND and which is 5V. Then I'd hook ground to ground and randomly connect rxd and txd. The chances are 50:50 to get it right the first try. If there is no output, swap rxd and txd and try again.
  14. try https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6610
  15. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+do+i+checkout+a+pr+github
  16. Either checkout the PR instead of main and try again or wait until it got merged.
  17. alternatively apply this patch: https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6618
  18. Lots of people don't realize they are using a rip-off, this is why we mention this on occurrence
  19. Example: https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/v24.05/config/sources/families/bcm2711.conf set KERNELBRANCH to something like tag:v6.7-rc7 in your case this would be tag:v6.6.30 I guess
  20. Both edge and current build just fine.
  21. Ubuntu can, we cannot. Unfortunately. https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_FAQ/#why-are-old-stable-distributions-like-ubuntu-focal-or-debian-buster-not-supported About userspace upgrades:
