  1. I used armbianmonitor -r on my OPi Zero just like I did previously on OPi One. On OPi One everything is working fine. On my zero it doesn't display all the information for CPU. It shows: CPU total: undefined% (Sys: undefined%, User: undefined%, I/O wait: undefined%, Nice: undefined%) CPU frequency: 1.008GHz DRAM frequency: Not available Governor: ondemand Active CPU cores: 4 Vcore: undefined If I run armbianmonitor -m it shows these data I checked Allwinner_H3_Extended.conf and I noticed that it reads files from /tmp (/tmp/cpustat, /tmp/disktemp, e.t.c) On my OPi One I see these files On OPi Zero there is no rpim…

It boots to a login prompt, but after a few seconds the whole system locks up. Does anyone have any idea what coudl cause this?

  10. Hi, Seen some posts where mentioning that depending of the version of kernel there is either FEX or DTS usage, old ones called Legacy, using FEX to define GPIOs and Peripherals pins. Wit Mainline Kernel, is using DTS. Yet in the recent kernel (dev) armbian builds, eg armbian 5.21, kernel 4.7.6 (on H3, NEO), seen the /boot containing all the FEX stuff script.bin etc. Is FEX still used in the mainline kernel builds? 15. I just reinstalled my Cubietruck with the Debian jessie, image from http://mirror.igorpecovnik.com/Cubietruck_Debian_4.1_jessie_3.4.108.zip. Only one core is available. What could I do so that the two cores are detected? For what it's worth, the bootloader briefly displays a "checksum error" message. Could it be that I'm still using the old bootloader from the previous installation? (It was Debian wheezy in summer 2014.) Thanks in advance for advice.

I then started using it, updating it, and suddenly realised that it only had a 1.4GB partition when it failed to finish updating due to insufficient space. I thought since I'd had some issues logging into it that I might have interrupted the first boot resize, so I re-imaged it, and loaded it up, left if five minutes, and then logged. No cigar... says it is still 1.4GB (1.4GB size, 1.2GB used, 2…

  20. Hi, I have a Opi+2 board which has an Armbian system installed in its emmc. Now I want to format its Emmc and reinstall Armbian but the problem is I don't have a proper SD card. So I need to do it without an SD card. I have a running system on it, so I can reach the working system. Is there a way of formating it while its running? Hi! Just saw a new board from FriendlyARM - NanoPi R1 (https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=248). It based on Allwinner H3, has dual Ethernet port, wi-fi and Bluetooth, USB, and onboard eMMC. Memory options are 512MB or 1GB. It comes in a case, just add power supply. Looks quite fun SBC for IoT and for micro router. I was unable to find Armbian images for this board. Could you please comment if is it possible to use images for other Allwinner H3 boards? Do you have any plans to support this board? Thank you in advance for your comments!

  50. Hi guys, In order to increase the CPU frequency on my Orange Pi Zero Plus I need to run the 4.17y kernel: I downloaded the prebuilt image from armbian which only includes the 4.14y kernel. Is there any way to download the newer 4.17y kernel, rather than having to build Armbian from scratch? Sorry if this is a newbie question but I'm not a linux expert. I appreciate any help in advance

My cubietruck mac address which I am assuming is auto generated is invalid. Though one would think it should work, other software on routers will not accept the mac as valid, and thus I can not add configurations to it. We probably need a layer somewhere to create 'valid' mac addresses. 02:C2:07:C0:B7:C7 is the generated mac that my cubietruck is currently using which software claims is invalid.

Am I correct in understanding that there is no stable image for NanoPi Neo 2 ?

I did this with an LED on each successive pin and testing through the /sys/class/gpio driver until I found the one to control it. The clean install also produced sometimes the error or warning but I started to customize the system with enabling overlays and now its cant boot. I copied the messages to pastebin: http://pastebin.com/2NUGVnqt I dont know where can I start the debugging and how to find what is wrong. Hello, all. My Orange Pi PC2 recently broke when doing an upgrade. So I hooked a serial cable to it and watched what it did. The error was that it couldn't find the dtb file. So, I put a simlink in dtb/allwinner called 'allwinner' and pointing to the parent directory. Now the device boots. I'm not sure if that's the proper fix, but it works for now and I'll fix it if I manage to break something with it later on. Thi…

Hi, I'm using the Igor-Image: Linux cubieboard2 4.0.5-cubietruck #12 SMP Thu Jun 11 19:18:02 CEST 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux I installed a program that is using a PID-file, normally under: /var/run/fhem/fhem.pid I created a sub-folder and changed the owner and permissions. With the next reboot, all changes where lost. I noticed that the /var/run is linked to /run and this is a tmpfs. So, is there an option to add a subdirectory permanently to /run? Alternatively I will add a short script, that will do these operations after reboot, but in my opinion, that is not the fancy way... greets brenndorfler
