  3. Hy I'm currently trying to run a DS18B20 Temperature Sensor on the PA20 Port on my Neo Core 2. The w1_gpio und w1_therm modules are loaded but still I can't see the senors in the /sys/bus/w1/devices/ folder. (28-xxxx) Now I read in different threads to edit the FEX file in the /boot/ folder. So I would bee to first covert the script.bin to the script.fex. However I can't find any *.bin file in the /boot/ folder... So is the PA20 Port the correct 1Wire port? And how can I change this port to eg. GPIOG11 if I can't find the script.bin in the /boot/ folder? Andy

  9. In case anyone else is considering this. I can confirm that I was able to compile Dual DHCP DNS Server on the Orange Pi Zero Plus board by using the instructions for 64 bit Linux as given in the Dual DHCP DNS Server manual (in the download). The project is hosted on Source Forge https://sourceforge.net/projects/dhcp-dns-server/ This is a very lightweight but powerful DHCP/DNS server for Windows and Linux. I currently am running a primary server on Windows and a secondary on the Orange Pi. My current OS is ARMBIAN 5.38 stable Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS 4.14.48-sunxi64. 11. On a previous build (and separate board), I have both wlan0 and wlan1 showing up as wireless interfaces on my OrangePi+ board. I have since upgraded the image on a new board, and now I only see wlan0. The software I've written for the board relies on having both wireless interfaces present, however, I'm not sure how to get the other one to show up. I've performed the apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, and then installed the image to EMMC. I've basically got a fresh image, and I'm unsure what I need to do next in order to get the wireless adapters to show up properly. Can someone help me out? Thank you!

  13. Hi there! I've recently configured the ov5640 camera overlay and was able to capture videos either with mjpg-streamer of ffmpeg. Now on 6.1.34 both causes now a kernel oops. PC is at media_pad_remote_pad_first+0xa/0x58 I don't think v4l2 is the root cause because this may mean it fails alle the time which is unlikely. Thanks for the hard work on Armbian. I finally got the EmulationStation GUI to run under OpenGL ES @ ~88fps on OrangePI PC. The trick was mostly building SDL2 from source and not installing it with apt-get per the instructions. Really want to avoid anything "mesa". IIRC, I configured SDL2 with a similar command before making: ./configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabihf --disable-video-opengl Then building EmulationStation from source using: cmake -DGLSystem=OpenGL\ ES . make make install FWIW I did symlink some shared objects into /usr/lib/ (like libMali.so) Next is sorting out libretro stuff.

  50. The orange pi zero has a USB OTG interface, which can be used to interact with it in the absence of networks and spare USB-UART converters. This is not enabled by default in the Armbian image. Here I describe how to modify the system image before first boot to enable this. First, mount the freshly written SD card on a linux computer, become root, and change directory to the mount point, that is, the root directory of the SD card. The following couple of steps were taken from https://oshlab.com/enable-g_serial-usb-otg-console-orange-pi-armbian/which describes how to enable this in a live system, i.e. after first boot. The steps are modified to work on the moun…

Hi all. Firstly, sorry I had posted this query in the wrong forum. I´m trying to add support for a raw SPI comunication through SPI0, as it´s a custom comunication with a little auxiliary board, I think best option is to have a spidev device. My scenario is: Banana pi m2 ultra Armbian 5.4.35-sunxi, server (No gui). I have been modifying .dts and .dtsi files, here are parts of the files that I modified: sun8i-r40.dtsi spi0_pins: spi0-pins { pins = "PC0", "PC1", "PC2"; function = "spi0"; }; spi0: spi@1c05000 { compatible = "allwinner,sun8i-spi"; device_type = "spidev"; reg = …

The documentation from h6 references support for i2s, and the same in the user manual from Xunlog : http://dl.sumnic.com/download/OrangePi-One-Plus.pdf Edit:After some reading, i2s is not working for now and there's no proper driver yet. 74. Hi guys, I was running my Orange Pi Zero Plus perfectly on the dev channel but I did an apt upgrade the other day and it seems to have broken something. I hooked it up to a usb serial device and here's the log: https://pastebin.com/jiB9TZdh Any ideas on how I can fix this? I can interrupt the boot process and I get to a screen where I can run limited commands but I'm not sure what to do at that point. I'm thinking it might be easier to just reflash and start again. This post is mainly for the devs to let them know there might be an issue with one of the kernels? Cheers.

I am having problems with ethernet, the sbc was connected to 100 mbps network and it worked normally, but recently i relocated it and connected it to another cable, the problem is that now i only get 10mbps, the cable is ok because it tried in my pc and got 100mbps, but i only get 10mbps on the sbc, then i found how to fix this in settings, but i acidentally removed ethernet connection that i was using and now the ethernet doesn't work, do i have to change something in network interfaces? also it says no link detected

  96. With the Orange Pi One and the mainline kernel, I can't get it to work optimally when plugged into a gigabit switch. The eth interface on the Pi One is 100Mb/s and it works perfectly when attached to a switch that is 100Mb/s. When attached to a 1000Mb/s switch: [112776.347520] dwmac-sun8i 1c30000.ethernet eth0: Link is Up - 100Mbps/Full - flow control off When attached to a 100Mb/s switch: [112882.431555] dwmac-sun8i 1c30000.ethernet eth0: Link is Up - 100Mbps/Full - flow control rx/tx

  97. Started by IllSkillz,

I believe that ethernet adaptor is not working properly because there's only one led blinking and its unable to receive ip address. I have tried to configure it with yaml files and manually with networkd and with static ip. I also tried to run dhcp on that interface and it received random ip outside of my network. Had no luck with network-manager either, it threw an error "ip configuration could not be reserved" With desktop image ethernet worked with no problem. So maybe there's a driver issue?

  98. Hi, I am currently testing an Orange Pi 3 with your nightly distributions (for instance Armbian_5.83.190424_Orangepi3_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_5.0.9), and they work fine but have some issues. The main issue is that the ethernet link status display does not really work. When I unplug my ethernet cable, the "Link detected" is alwayes 'yes" within ethtool. As I am trying to configure my board in bonding mode with an external wifi usb adapter (because the embedded wifi is not yet supported by armbian for Orange Pi 3), my bonding is not working because the link status on eth0 is always yes. I have also checked /sys/class/net/eth0/carrier and it is always "1" e…

I'm working on Orange-pi zero (H2 +)board. Sometimes , after rebooting of system , I Noticed that MAC address is changed. From where It is reading MAC Address?? any help on that?

  100. I just upgraded (using a fresh image with the 5.69 image) one of my SOPINE A64 modules from Armbian Xenial - legacy kernel 3.10.y to Armbian Bionic - mainline kernel 4.19.y. The onboard ethernet will no longer work. The sopine module is connected to a clusterboard instead of a sopine baseboard, but the NIC is on the module so it should not make a difference. On Xenial 3.10.y kernel the driver loaded for the NIC is the sunxi_geth driver, on bionic 4.19.y kernel it is the st_mac100 driver. Here is the output of the lshw for 4.19.y *-network:0 description: Ethernet interface physical id: 6 logical name: eth0 seria…
