  2. I hava a jetson nano and i use Armbian 20.05.4 Buster. I installed a Fan with pwn, but it does not turn. https://wiki.52pi.com/index.php/ICE_Tower_Cooling_Fan_For_Jetson_Nano_SKU:_EP-0113 A command /usr/bin/jetson_clocks should enable the pwm signal. (this is mentioned for nvidia image) How can i enable the pwm signal in armbian?

  3. I've used DroidCam on Windows 10 with no problems. The dev supports Linux, but for 64-bit binaries only. Is there any alternatives for Armbian? Even just microphone will do.. I am planning to repurpose my old android phone which barely runs any apps

The old Amlogic kernel contain a large number of Trojans and the security system is completely destroyed, which allows all sorts of freaks and scammers to access the system with these cores. Therefore, all information about images with old Amlogic cores will be deleted without warning.

The problem (Armbian on U9-H requires physical button after power loss) The discovery process (MCU at I2C bus 0, address 0x15, register 0x11) The fix: i2cset -y 0 0x15 0x11 0x00 The systemd service for persistence That 0x01 = button required, 0x00 = auto power on Note it likely applies to the Minix NEO U1 as well since it uses the same MCU

The box apparently has S905X which should "translate" into this dtb gxl_p212_2g_kvim.dtb. Libreelec refuses to boot with it but when I used older built of Coreelec it booted with gxbb_p200_1G_1Gbit.dtb which should be S905 not S905X. Armbian and libreelec refuses to boot with that dtb. This is how the partitions look like mmcblk1boot0 mmcblk1boot1 mmcblk1rpmb. Is there a risk for me to redo the partitions and run the install script? As I see it if I do this it could brink the box. I also tried to extract the dtb from mmcblk1boot0 without any luck... anyone that has a good howto for this?

Hello, I have bought an x96mini with a uboot version from 03/2019, everythings works perfectly when booting from SD, but when I try to boot from internal the kernel boots and it stops at "waiting for root device", after an investigation I have noticed that the partitions layout is different from the standard one, I have updated the dtb to be inline with that layout but the problem remains the same, unable to boot from internal. Here is the original dts file from that box, Any help would be appreciated, knowing that I am using the kernel version 3.14. Thanks, 01_dtbdump_Amlogic.dts

I recently got some new SD cards. When try using them, I found a strange behavior of these SD cards. They allow you to create ONLY one partition on it. When you try to burn the image, the image is written correctly, no error messages. With this SD card, you can activate the multi-boot. But when I try to start the system or to verify the data in the second partition on the SD card, I discover that the partition is created but data is not available (section is blank, no file system). If a single partition (the whole size of the SD card), the data be read and written to the entire size of the SD card. So for all who have problems running from an SD card or Armbian Librelec, …

  57. Hello everybody. Finally I have signed up for the forum. Been reading here for awhile but never really had a reason to signup until now. I got a tv-box the other day which I have been playing around with. I dont have much experience working with the arm64 architecture, I have mostly been playing around with ultrasparc and the mainline architectures. I have no problem getting the system to boot and work but I cannot get all the boards features to work so my OCD is not allowing me to let this pass without exploring all options. The box in question is a s905x MXQ Pro 4K. It has 1gb memory, rtl8189etv wifi chip and what I think is a nand chip…

  58. After following the main guide "Single Armbian image for RK + AML + AW" I've been able to boot into armbian via sd card without issue using the update method. Ethernet is working and nothing seems to be broken. However, trying to launch Armbian Config to install on eMMC doesn't work because after clicking to open the program a terminal pops up and disappears immediately, similar to how if you opened a command line program in windows just by clicking on it, it would close by itself. I'm not sure if this is a related problem but running terminal and trying to use su fails even though I'm certain I've got the password correct. I even reformatted and …

  61. Hi all, Since the previous thread got closed due to not sticking to the topic box, I thought I will start a new thread. Let's try and avoid this turning into a general discussion... I have noticed that the price for X88 King (and variants like Pro) have significantly dropped. This intrigued me so I spend a few hours reading the thread over at 4pda.ru via Google Translate and it seems the stock firmware was very buggy initially. Over the last couple of months some OTA upgrades and custom firmware managed to greatly improve stability. Some questions remain as to whether the 5V 2A power supply is enough but in general the box is more usable. …

Dug it out today (it has sat unused and untouched for quite a while). Found that its plsatic box which has that strange gunk that is applied to to the box to make it look "shiny" has started to break down so it has become sticky. Anyway since I am clearing things out …

But I could get display from hdmi output and see everything runs good. I asked the seller to send me the android’s image file and now I also have android full firmware for this tablet. When launching alsamixer the only changable device is DAC Digital, but actually it does not change anything, the volume remains at "56" and won't change. It is almost not possible to control volume through alsamixer or amixer command line. The only control I have found is the mute/unmute through /sys/class/amaudio but not the volume level ! It is the case for all armbian (debian, ubuntu) servers packages. I think some thing goes wrong... Any help or hint would be appreciated. Thanks

  70. Hi. Currently using Kodi on Raspberry Pi. I also run IPTV service on the Kodi Raspberry Pi. It seems switching channels is slow, EPG seems limited as well. I want to know when I buy a TV box, does it come with OS? Can I just load the m3u file so it allows watching IPTV? Does it allow faster switching of channel than using a Raspberry Pi? So many questions regarding TV Box. But seems to me the forum has a lot of topics of people getting TV Box and repurposing the box as desktop. Why is this? Not really using it for IPTV?

But the partition table looks quite strange. Here is the output of cfdisk: The extended partition p4 ends at block 11567103, but p15, which is part of p4, ends at15269887. I was not able to fix this with parted's resizepart command. The resulting new partition table was not written to the eMMC. Any ideas how to fix this? p15 contains armbian, which runs fine in this configuration. Nevertheless I would like to delete unused partitions and enlarge p15. p14 could be a cand…

The start system in Coreelec is not compatible with LibreELECE Armbian etc. If you run coreelec on your TV box, you will no longer be able to run LE and Armbian normally until the full recovery of the standard firmware via the USB Burn Tool and the new activation of the universal multi-boot, which is used in all new systems. Questions that do not specify exact details (the exact image version, TV box model, detailed steps that were performed for DTB settings, and so on) will be ignored and deleted. For all. At the beginning of the year, I already warned that support for AML will be reduced, now it's time, I completely stop supporting all TV boxes based on AML. AML support is Available exclusively for several models whose manufacturers cooperate with Armbian. I now find myself in a position of needing one: In a rental apartment, I have a wall-mounted TV with HDMI in but an old, custom, non-upgradable vendor-specific OS and no network connectivity.
