  1. I am aware that the Raspberry Pi 1, 2,3 can transmit Radio waves on GPIO pin 4 and 18. There are even special skins that filter the output. " Previously we posted about the Raspberry Pi’s ability to modulate one of its pins to produce FM transmissions with PiFM. A developer (F5OEO) has recently expanded on this idea, and now the Raspberry Pi is capable of modulating and transmitting FM, AM, SSB, SSTV and FSQ signals anywhere between 130 kHz to 750 MHz. To transmit with the Raspberry Pi all you need to do is plug in a wire antenna to Pin 12 (GPIO 18) on the GPIO port and run the PiTx software by piping in an audio file or image for SSTV. " …

I would like to use the gpio marked GPIOPA13,P A14, PA15,P A16 and PA2 I think these are used by the UART and SPI - I don't require this functionality. I think I have to modify the fex, I have looked, but do not want to kill my system Isit possible to use those gpio? Can someone point me in the right direction? TIA. J.

Hello I have a working armbian image working well on mi "LePotato", but now I need to use the SPI interface to communicate with a sensor, however I see no spi on /dev/. I read the official images have spi support here , I tried the Ubuntu image and it is working. Is there any way to enable it inArmbian? I read the documentation in https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Allwinner_overlays/ , where points to use custom overlays with .dts files. I see the .dts overlay files used in the Ubuntu image are in github here, however when I try to use armbian-add-overlay I get the message "armbian Overlays are not supported on Meson64 based boards". Good afternoon! Tell me about the case, please, the post is great, but maybe I'm initially going the wrong way. Initial task: data exchange between a remote server and equipment with a USB interface and CDC RS-232 or HID protocols. Putting a computer / laptop next to it is not an option. I did not find any ready-made solutions, there are only options: 1. Single board computer. Fast, cheap, angry, easy to make a case and PoE power from ready-made components on the market. 2. Arduino - to assemble from prototyping boards is long, difficult and expensive. To develop something of my own - the navel will be untied with my knowledge. 3. Hardware "e…

I can login as root fine, but when running armbian-install, I only see the option of installing to sdb (my USB drive), but not to my sda (the laptop local drive). I am not sure what's the problem. Do I have to do something to the partition in sda? Currently Alpine Linux is installed in the local drive. Previous installation was Lubuntu (14, I think?). Hello I'm using armbian on a Neo 2 board and I wanted to use a Quectel EM05 or EC25 LTE modem with it. Actually only need the serial port to send AT-commands. My question is, are Quectel modems natively supported by armbian (QMI? MBMI? ), or do I need to add the driver manually and rebuild the image??? Thank you (Yeah, it's a noob question ) Edit: Ok, I connected to modem to the board and realized that a wwan0 interface was created. That's fine, but I actually needed the serial port ttySx in order to sen AT-commands, but there is not one available... that's actually very strange.

I have a question. Because there is a big mess in the naming of the first Orangepi series. I have a board with orangepi mini 2 image working. Archived Armbian 5.05 kernel 3.4.119. Orangepi pi 2 images do not launch. In appearance and specifications, the Orangepi PC 2 and mini 2 are almost identical. https://linux-sunxi.org/Xunlong_Orange_Pi_Mini_2. However, the specification for the mini 2 exists, although the manufacturer himself does not provide it on its main website. Could you add an introduction to the orange pi mini 2 board, with the old 3.4 kernel, so that you can build a system? Or maybe someone has some archival image to share?

  51. a Few days ago I started noticing strange behavior with calls failing and pods with valid imag tags not working and finally figured out what seems like armbian stopped trusting any certificates. When I apt update I get errors (certificate something something) When I curl google.com it says invalid certificate and have to use --insecure for it to work. I've run update ca-certifactes -f to try and force it to trust them again but no real idea of what is wrong here.
