  4. I've just installed armbian to Pinebook Pro's eMCC using the full-disk encryption helper script from https://github.com/mmgen/mmgen-geek-tools The said script was executed inside an armbian installation in an sd card with official Pinebook Pro image. The eMCC installation almost worked - it boots to graphical desktop, however there's no wifi and bluetooth. I don't have any other way to connect the laptop to internet. I guess the way to fix this is to boot the sd card again because it has internet, then open the encrypted disk manually and chroot to its root, then run some command - but I don't know which one! Please help.

After upgrade two of my boards to mainline (4.14.51-sunxi) I have noticed that simple command apt list basically stopped working. It stuck at "Listing ..." (at this moment 1 core of CPU is utilized in 100%). Now I run it in background to see if eventually it will be completed... So far (15 minutes)... nothing. apt list --installed is also very slow, but after some time it gives results. However, it is much slower than on "default" (3.4.113-sun8i) Can anybody check it and reconfirm?

Currently, we support these devices that use ARMbian at their base: BPI Pro BPI M2+ OPI PC NanoPi Neo I'd like to increase this so we can support more boards with the same ARM SoC (eg: H3). Unfortunately, like most, i do not have access to every SBC out there. As we do further manual optimizations to the ARMbian images, after compile (eg: DietPi-RAMlog, DietPi-RAMdisk, package removals, prep for DietPi scripts etc etc), having the SBC device is essential to creating our image. 49. Hello. It seems there is an issue with iptables in the 6.18.10-current-meson64 kernel. I can't start Docker because of this. ``` ~# iptables -L modprobe: FATAL: Module ip_tables not found in directory /lib/modules/6.18.10-current-meson64 iptables v1.8.11 (legacy): can't initialize iptables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded. ``` As I run a docker version 28.X.X, it does not support nftable. (Cannot upgrade at the moment). What can I do to solve the problem ? Thanks

Hello, hope you can help me with my issue. I have an Orange Pi Zero+ with an H5 processor. My requirement is to detect when a button is pressed, my input port is PA1 or pin 11, my pin for 3.3V is 17, I'm using the pyA20 library, have also setup this project: https://github.com/herzig/orangepi_PC_gpio_pyH5. My code is based on the read_button example (https://github.com/herzig/orangepi_PC_gpio_pyH5/blob/master/examples/read_button.py#L46). Bellow I will show the code, but the main problem is that the gpio.input() method is usually returning 0 but every few seconds it returns 1, which is only supposed to happen when button is pressed. I'm a complete newbie in this world so …

Armbian documentation on Overlays refers to /boot/armbianEnv.txt. But in the version of Armbian that I'm running (on a Cubietruck, ARMBIAN 5.36 user-built Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 4.13.16-sunxi) there is no such file. There is however a copy in directory /usr/share/armbian. Is this the overlay file that is processed at start-up? If so, it would be good if the documentation was updated.

  97. Started by N4IRS,

I am considering building a development machine for building images, and Debian packages (deb). I do not plan a GUI on it. I plan to ssh in. I would like to be able to mirror a couple of SATA drives for safety. Speed and connectivity are important. Can anyone make a suggestion on what board. Must run Armbian of course. Thanks, Steve

  98. Hello again all, Following the success of my last need to post here I changed my Odroid N2+ Plex server over to Armbian (making two Armbian-running Odroids in the house). The N2+ is running Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) with Linux 5.9.6-meson64 I have had a few occasions where I have encountered a system-wide freeze. Today's lasted over an hour, whilst others have unfrozen after ~20-30 minutes. Today the machine was ping-able but attempts to ssh in were unsuccessful though there was no timeout and no error messages when trying. Prior to that I was listening to some music in which the playback was faltering, leaving silence for several seconds duration b…

  99. Hi, First post here. I'm fairly new with Armbian. I have a LibreComputer Le Potato that I want to use for Home Assistant. To avoid all the hassle of setting up Home Assistant with docker, I used the Armbian imager to install the Armbian 26.2.1 Home Assistant on an SD card. Once the SD card was flashed, I put it into the Le Potato board. The board starts up fine, asks for the root password, creates a new user and so on. Later on, the Preparing Home Assistant Supervised window appears. However, after the first round to 100% I get a "RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument" on the screen. The preparation goes on and on, moving the progress bar ove…

  100. I am not able to boot from armbian. First I downloaded image from (https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero-2w/) later on I flashed the image with usbimager, then since this didn't work I did with balena etcher, (all those in linux). Balena etcher crashes at verification so then I did with my windows machine, first with usbimager and since it wasn't working I decided to decompress the .xz and do it with "rufus" Here i attach the images and as you guys can see it says "failed to mount /dev/mtdblock4". That terminal is pretty much useless, I can't even do reboot or poweroff. I just need armbia…
