One month ago I got on my OPi Zero Plus2 H5 only up to 816Mhz with armbian. In the past I got on this device up to 1.1GHz (1080000 cpufreq) with older armbian builds. @5kft Told me thats because frequencys greater than 816Mhz require 1.2v and the OPi Zero Plus2 H5 isnt/couldnt switch(ing) and would only run at 1.1v. So it seems the cpu-table is now more conservative than before. Yesterday I did see the same behaviour and my "older" non-LTS NanoPi Neo2 (H5 also). Because in September I edited the cpu-table less conservative for the OPi Zero Plus2 H5 I did test this also on the non-LTS NanoPi Neo2 and it worked like on the OPi Zero…

I started this journey with DietPi on a nanopi r4s. I asked about it on the DietPi forum, and they basically said "Our distro is a bunch of scripts on top of Armbian. We can't really help you with a kernel problem." So I reimaged with Armbian and I'm here now. Background with DietPi: When I first boot the DietPi image, the LAN port works. This is on kernel 5.10.63. Then as soon as I log into it via ssh on the IP address acquired by the LAN port, it proceeds to auto-upgrade software, including the kernel, which goes to 5.15.25. During the upgrade, I got messages saying a bunch of firmware for the r8169 driver was not there. Installing armbian-firmware-full…

The Orange Pi 4G-IOT page suggest that board uses a 4g module, since in the pic its written "4g module" and an arrow point to a chip. But it's SoC MT6737 has an integrated cellular modem ! So does it uses a module or the integrated modem ? All the chips are covered with a metal shield, so I can't tell.

Use case: simple NAS Boards to consider: anything with at least UASP, better yet, USB 3.0 or SATA. But stability (under heavy disk I/O and load average) matters over speed! Also, Gigabit Ethernet is a must. For all the SBC's which are listed as Supported, to what degree can I trust that I won't get kernel freezes, or filesystem errors, when disk I/O gets thick and furious? I completely understand if the disk I/O slows down to a crawl, as the load average gets high, but I'm wanting to feel assured that a board marked as Supported won't "flake out" on me, potentially destroying all my files, should I decide to use it for a simple NAS. Here is…

Hi there, I'm going to run a full bitcoin node on ARM board so on the first sight requirements are: 1) it is in stock now 2) 2 Gb RAM 3) CPU performance and Stability under high load 4) USB 2.0 (or better) for an external storage 5) ethernet on board as for now my short list is 1) Odroid XU4 or HC1 (C1 was used for bitnodes as far as I know) 2) ASUS Tinker 3) Orange Pi Prime (?) 4) NanoPi K2 5) Rock64 (4Gb) I'm not sure about OPI Prime b/c I've found some reports on the forum about stability issues. Also it is sold out at the moment. I'm open for your suggestions and th…

at https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=274 is the "new" NanoPi R1S (available as H3 or H5) and they stated armbian-support in the OS-Section. Is that original or FriendlyElec-armbian? Because the R1S doenst seem to use the AMPAK WiFi/Bluetooth as the NPi R1, but a Realtek module?

I would like to discuss the subject of failure and SBC systems of various brands. I just broke the Nanopi T2 module. I also had a damaged module of orangepi 2 and orange pi RK 3399. You have a lot of boards. Did you happen to be under the influence of overvoltages in the high temperature or period the use of the board broke down ?. Which producer is the worst in this respect?

Hi guys! Thought I'd let you know about a new board that I've just released - called the mmBoard. Has all the features that SBC hackers have been wanting, plus more. https://www.mickmake.com/post/announcing-the-mmboard-a-mickmake-sbc-with-all-the-goodies Let me know if there's any questions about it. Would be happy to answer them.

Seems that hardware accelerated Videodecoding & GPU usage is the new 'hot topic' at the moment. A lot of this stuff is discussed in various topics and threads and subforums here. As nice at it is to bring this topics up, it's hard to follow them across the forum and when those questions come up from users you have to link the to a bunch of topics which they probably don't read cause it's simply to much to read (I now that this is a shitty argument, but reading is boring for most people in those days.. ). So why does it make sense to open another thread targeting this topic? This should summarize the things that work, no suggestions what could work, should work,…

I have used banana pro for several years now as samba server for a sata drive, and pihole/openvpn server. My operating system Is: ARMBIAN 5.87.190520 nightly Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 5.1.3-sunxi . I have tried several stable distributions before the may 5, 2019 nightly build, but all have the same issues. 1) Every few days I will loose network connectivity. The board is on, I can see that, but I can not ssh into it. Even the hdmi console will not respond. Apparently, the system just hangs somewhere. 2) There are times when network is fine, I can ssh, but openvpn server just stops responding. Restarting openvpn server does not d…

Hey guys, I am thinking to build a wireless router from a single board computer, so my requirement is that the chosen board to support Linux to have at least one Gigabit port and also to have a PCIe port to connect an external WiFi card and antennas and eventually attach one or more SSDs. So far I looked on the Internet and I am wondering which is a better board for this project Rockpro64, Banana PI BPI-R2 or the EspressoBin. The advantages of the EspressoBin are: it has built-in networking switch with one dedicated WAN and two LAN interfaces all 1Gbps dedicated SATA interface miniPCIe slot for wireless cards stable Armbian support …

I want to turn my Banana PI into a NAS. Since SSDs are still too small (or much too expensive for my purpose) I need to use a standard 3,5 HD and those will need that much power (on spin-on at least) that I can't use the Banana SATA to power up the HD, right? Can those people that use banana pi et al. as NAS tell me what kind of external power supply they use with what type of connector? If you can recommend low-power HDs I'd like to hear that too. Are there power supplys that can safely feed the Banana pi itself and the HD? Preferably without soldering the connectors?

First, I apologize if this is the wrong section of the forum for this question. I will keep watch on the response and learn for future posts. I apologize if I got it wrong. I was looking at Orange Pi devices on aliexpress and noticed the "Orange Pi i96 256MB Cortex-A5 32bit with WIFI and Bluetooth". Looks like a cool device, but I haven't found mention if it in the forum and it's not in the downloads section ... Will the Orange Pi i96 be included as a target device? And will the on-board WiFi be a disaster like the Orange Pi Zero on-board WiFI, or is it possible the i96 on-board WiFi will be usable? I really hope they learned from the zero an…

Today I had a chance to test OV5640 on mainline kernel 4.17.2 and see the status of OV5640 and CSI drivers, thanks to FE work and the author of the driver (help name here...). I tested on NanoPi K1 Plus (H5) to verify the images in very low light conditions, so don't expect good quality. I could take some images using fswebcam and you should expect basic v4l2 functionality already works if not all. I think motion (did not test / had time to test it) can work with current OV5640 on mainline kernel. Grabbing Image is very fast, currently, Image size I can get are 320x240 and 640x480 pixels, above this i get a dark image. I have not looked at the driver source cod…

Wherein I explain my conversion... Pine64 was barely on my radar in the past. There are so many SBC and companies just trying to sell crap it can be hard to tell who is who some times, until you look into one company / board / device or another, a little more in depth. I have been following Librem 5 development for a long time, so I was aware of PinePhone, but they seemed in my mind back then a bit like a "Johnny come lately" who were just trying to capitalize on whatever Purism were trying to do. Then @lanefu was raving about his PineBookPro in IRC, it was only then I started really poking around their forums the last month or so, a…

Hello! I wish to make my OrangePi 'failsafe' in regards of spontaneous power losses and such, so I need to have it running write protected, with writes going to a special partition or just RAM. My searches yielded an 'ancient' way to freeze the root filesystem using overlayroot, which isn't supoprted anymore (https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Advanced-Features/) As I think that this kind of 'headless embedded usage' is an usual scenario for SBC running Armbian and having seen there was a method for doing so before, I assume there probably is a popular modern method for doing so, but I couldn' find it. How would I do this with the…

Hi, Is there any plan fro Armbian to support Rockchip processors like RK3288 or RK3399? Any guide on how to port Armbian on them? These processors have official support on GPU (both openCL and openGL ES), HW video codec (like H264 encoding and decoding with gstream), and also open-sourced Kernel 4.4.x. And most important thing is they are willing to support opensource community and fix their bugs continuously. I've got a RK3288 proto board which was able to run Linux 4.4 + Debian with HW accelerated desktop and video playing, and it worked perfect. The only thing that troubled me is the Debian system that maintained by Rockchip is suck.…

Dear All, I just want to make a Tutorial on my successful attempt in Installing Box86 on Arm64 and Install Wine X86 apps. In this example it is Sketchup 7.1 and Sketchup 8 But before starting I want to thanks to PtitSeb for his hard work to bring this dream into reality (running x86 apps on arm64 box). My system is X96 Max+ S905x3. I used @balbes150 older image to boot to Armbian, many thanks for him. So In general every box running Armbian 64bit should work. This tutorial will use debootstrap Debian Buster Armhf as base for chroot. The keyword is "Arm64" support "Armhf", therefore you do not need to use Qemu or Binfmt_misc as it is very slow. Hi Igor, I'm fresh owner of CB5 (CT2+) board and I'm interesting about your opinion regarding this board. I hope that in near future you will start new branch of Armbian for H8. At this moment, best option for me is still using CT as a production appliance but maybe CT+ will be faster... (instead SATA USB bridge access of course).

I've been travelling a lot lately for work (IT conferences). I don't brag. Don't get me wrong, I like meeting new people, sharing about technology, but the "travel" part of this travels is the worst for me. And having to use the bad hotel wifi without any protection is not my cup of tea... Working with my phone's 4G tethering is cool, but I feel "naked" anyway... And it does not solve my other devices connection problem. I was almost ready the other day to get a 4G/Wifi travel router to solve it, but as I tend to use SBCs for just about everything, I was wondering if I could make one my travel router, giving me WIFI through a VPN on top of Armbian. Suggestion for a (near future) product. We're still lacking a good SBC out in the wild for small clusters.. Recent SoC performance is good.. Currently all the homelab and k8s nerds are just using RPI4s because they have a header for POE support. We know there are better options. We had pitched this to orange pi but weren't receptive. Hi, my Cubieboard 1 was burned, so I'm looking for next board. What I need: - ownCloud (newer had yet); - MPD; - spdif; - SATA (alternatively via USB?); - maybe simple www server. I don't need video , but I would like to connect some extra modules, like nRF24L01 radio via SPI or alphanumeric LCD via IIC etc. Odroid C2 is powerful, but without SPI, SATA and audio outputs. So maybe C1+? A20-OLinuXino-LIME2 is OK, but Allwinner again... What else? And the most important thing: Armbian:)

The company behind the Geekbox (my only SBC I still never booted ) in the meantime more known for their Amlogic Vim/Vim2 boards also joins the RK3399 bandwagon with a concept similar to Geekbox. A core module to be combined with a carrier board: Since it's just another RK3399 design Armbian support later is likely. Just FYI: the first interesting Banana board since ages: BPi R16 based on Allwinner's A33 SoC (R16 is just a relabeled A33 with a different Allwinner business unit being responsible for). For R16 exists a horribly outdated 'SDK' made by Allwinner's BU5: https://github.com/tinalinux/linux-3.4 (relies on unpatched kernel 3.4.39 which might contain more security flaws than features in the meantime. Their tinalinux approach combines this with an outdated Android 4.4 and somehow also a smelly OpenWRT version for reasons unknown to me. Surprisingly they also rely on their own proprietary LiveSuit image format no one on this planet outside of Allwinner wants to use). …

I guess everyone knows that downloading distros in general takes a lot of bandwidth, same with armbian even thought the armbian distro i only a couple of hundreds of MB. so beside offering direct download why not start using p2p downloads like ubuntu and other distros do already in order to save bandwidth. We can use the openbittorrent.com public tracker - i already have a cubietruck which is powered 24/7 for my p2p needs so i would mind sharing some armbian distros via p2p. What do you guys think ?

I've used Zabbix professionally and at home to monitor servers, IoT, and IP devices. I've built scripts for the server and client to automate the install process including moving the MySQL database, so you can locate it to a NFS mount instead of serving the database from the slower SD card. The deb packages do not work for ARM, so you have to build it from source using my scripts. Install Zabbix

Hi everyone, we have a new forum set up at orangepi.club now, since the original one runs as if it was run on a OPi One while compiling 5 kernels at the same time, and its mostly broken too (login for example) The new forum is not supposed to be a replacement for this forum, just a place to have a general chat about all systems, not only Armbian. I hope its a good place to post it. Also, if you are a creator of a distro, you can be a moderator for the distribution category. I am not a part of the administration, i am just telling you guys about it, so we get people to know this forum and actually use it, because its better. -moondeck

That is, only Jessie i386, amd64, armel and armhf will continue to be hosted on the normal mirrors. I can clearly see the point for the maintainers, but there is an issue with the old boards. For example, I have a cubietruck which I would definitely like it to keep being supported, and I could probably help to maintain it within Armbian. Though I do have only one board which works 24/7. To my understanding, I can not be a maintainer, as I can't test new releases on a productive board. So If no one has two pieces, then the board can not be supported. In this case, I expect that current owners have to freeze kernel updates and keep the board for some more months - years, or try to test and use plain Debian or other distros. Is there any other alternative?

Hey, just wondering if this is a common issue, I've put a fresh copy of Armbian 5.20 (legacy kernel) on my new Evo Plus 64GB and updated it to 5.23 on my Orange Pi PC, but it seems I'm getting only 742KB/s 4k random write speeds (I thought it'd be around 2MB/s) and 5 to 10MB/s sequential write speed. Is this normal, and if so is there a better card to buy that'll give me more Random IO & saturate the write speeds of the bus on the Opi PC? The results from testing /dev/mmcblk0p1 (ext4): Data OK: 55.34 GB (116061392 sectors) Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Average writing speed: 10.05 MB/s Average reading speed: 20.35 MB/s …

I know is a hard-work, maybe due to the "avalanche" of new boards. But I find a little mess in the filter to select boards in the Donwload page based on the availability of OS images. For example Orange Pi One http://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-one/ doesn't have Mainline OS but it's appear in the filtered list. Thanks in advance.

I think Xunlong should be able to make a Orange Pi Zero with 512MB RAM and Gigabit ethernet for around $10. If they did, would you buy it? Do you think it would be a good product? The H2/H3/H5 is capable of gigabit ethernet, they just need an external ethernet chip that costs about $1. If you think about it. To go from an Orange Pi PC which has 1GB RAM @ $15, to an Orange Pi 2E with 2GB RAM $35, thats more than double the cost to double the RAM. But if you go from an Orange Pi Zero with 100Mbit ethernet at $9 to 1000Mbit ethernet at $10, that's only a 0.1X increase in cost for a 10X increase in performance. That means you get about 10.5x more value for mon…

I have one sensor bmp180 on I2C bus and reading temperature and barometric pressure was quite easy but this is different bus and move code from Raspberry needs more effort. Basically I need proper binary able to read from gpio pins and I want to record/show values from this sensor on Rpi Monitor. If somebody have previous experiences with that and want to share them I will be very appreciated.

Hi All, Which SOC gives best performance today for SATA I/O? According to the Sunxi wiki: http://linux-sunxi.org/Sunxi_devices_as_NAS "Since not every A20 based sunxi device uses GMAC networking (or even Ethernet at all) the following devices are the best choices: A20-OLinuXino-Lime2, Banana Pi, Banana Pro or Banana Pi M1+, Cubietruck, Hummingbird A20, Lamobo R1, Orange Pi, Orange Pi Mini or pcDuino3 Nano (Lite)." I've actually got a cubietruck+ here (that uses a terrible USB to sata bridge) but it's a terrible choice. Hoping you guys (or tkaiser ) can steer me in the right direction. I could run out and order a banana pro, but I feel like A20 has been around a whi…

These days i did install on some devices debian buster (via armbian-build-system generated). On the Orange Pi One this did work also fine with the cpu-temperature (showing via armbianmonitor -m) On a Orange Pi PC2 and a NanoPi K1 Plus this doesnt work. First I did think this is a problem of the dev-image with debian buster where /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp doesnt show an output via cat or more - but its filesize does show a 4096 bytes size (also on a working device - and also rights 444 = rrr for the file): -r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 May 20 10:47 temp BUT NOW after a apt update & apt upgrade I also got thi…

should we move this to one to: https://forum.armbian.com/forum/31-sd-card-and-power-supply/ as a pinned thread? Actually I think it should be 'saved' somewhere due to it explains the reasons and opinions why Armbian recommends to use Etcher and I think it would fit best there. It might be good to have this somewhere where it doesn't get lost due to new threads showing up. only recommend a tool which validates the Image after burning.. And at the moment, only etcher seems to do this.

Out of curiosity, i have two different builds for the same board, burned it to the same sdcard and ran on the same board and the raid6 numbers are twice as fast for one case. Can anyone give some explanation what this numbers mean (if that means something running a SBC with sdcard)? I am curious to know what settings (or wrong settings) would give such a boost on this? Hello guys, I hope, I picked the right section. I'm looking for a most suitable SBC for DVB-T2 decoding. Here in Germany is DVB-T dead, so the successor DVB-T2 is there. BUT, the codec here is H.265 and not H.264... So, my idea is to use an PCTV tripleStick 292e, which is supported by LinuxTV sind kernel version 3.16. This stick is able to decode H.264 in hardware. So, to decode H.265 I need a SoC which is supporting H.265 in hardware. The suitable SoC are i.e. Amlogic S905 (Odroid C2) and RK3266 (Asus Tinker). Which SBC would you take for it? I would like to use mainline kernel, if it's possible. Wha…

Can you people explain to me how you advertise on almost every page 48+TB storage fully knowing there is a 16TB limitation on all filesystems thanks to limitations on 32bit? I will not use whatever MERGEFS is. How exactly do you achieve 48TB storage as I currently have 4x6TB disks that I CANNOT USE. If you can't I want a refund.

Hi all, unfortunately the USB power port on my Nanopi M4 V2 has broken off and I can't see a way to reattach it securely - it looks like it's just a push fit onto the board on 4 little tabs no solder involved no wonder it eventually fell off. I've heard that it's possible to power the Nano via the GPIO pins - anyone here done that - I'm not to clued up with all things electrical but I can solder ? I'm thinking I could make a cable to connect to the pins

Hello! I want to replace my old "Server" (Pi 1B) with something more powerfull. In the same move, I want to use my server to do a lot more things than it does now. To be future-proof I would like my server to have GbE and 2 GB RAM. I would also love internal storage that I am able to do software RAID 1 with my SD-Card for security (Could I also use an simple USB-Stick instead of onboard flash?). Also I want to have a Home-NAS for Backups. (SATA; GbE) I am wondering if I should combine the two into one ... in this case, the Server-OS would be backed up probably on my workstation. Why using two devices if I could use one ... It would have lots of m…

Full disclosure: I was one of the winner of a free Station P1 and they ask to provide a few postings about it. So this will be my first one where I unbox it. Funnily I did expect some kind a cardboard box but instead I received a plastic bag. Well, I take it. Within the Fedex bag was another bag from DHL. No idea what happened there... Anyway inside the bubble wrap I found a HDMI cable, a remote control a flyer presenting various products and (finally) a car Apparently I received one of the first products since mine has the serial number 000049 After opening the box I was greeted with the Station…

I've built my own security cameras for about 8 years (using computer vision, ML, etc.), but now I want to do something off the shelf so to speak. I just wired my attic to my office with cat 6 cable and my house is wired with cat5e, More than likely the cameras will be plugged directly into the SBC from the attic via PoE. My question is which SBC would be able to handle hardware H265 decoding using 4K cameras at 30 fps? That's about 27 Mbps per camera times 4 cameras. iperf test from my attic showed 961 Mbps using ODroid XU4. So my questions are: Which SBC can handle H265 hardware decoding of four 4K cameras? I want to have 2 1Gbps ports, so I can have camera…

Hi, UPDATE 26 of May 2018: minor text for better reading, Document section added tools, repository idea SITUATION: In our "day to day" exchange on Armbian we are probably to close to look at it the way it looks for a firsttime visitor. Many members of the community have seen that as well and wrote about it in the Forum - but they didn't come up with a solution. Now, neither do I have a solution nor do I have nice document, but I think we need to set some standard pillars of FOSS projects in order to overcome some of our well known problems. For the ones who joined armbian a while ago (me for example May 2015) have read about missing dev…

And no, that isn't supposed to be a rude title :-) ! Let me try to explain. What I'm trying to do is to have some sort of device run pi-hole. I have tried this in the past with success but when I last tried it I was using a raspberry pi zero and a usb wifi adapter - so it really only worked for one PC. What I'm now trying to do is to try to do the same for my entire home network. My guess is that I need some sort of small computer to put in front of the first device the internet touches (a router). So if I put a small arm based computer just before the router running pi-hole that (in theroy) should mean all the devices after the pi-hole get the black-hole ad b…

Hi, I have currently a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running as WiFi access point, hooked up to the router via Ethernet. This allows me to play around and redirect traffic via TOR or whatever I can think of on the Pi. It works quite well, but I actually think the PI is possibly a bit overpowered and too expensive. Can anyone suggest an SBC that can handle the task equally well (stable + good WiFi performance for a handful of clients with connection to 50MBit/s uplink) but is less expensive? I already had a look at the Orange Pi Zero Plus 2, which seems suitable in terms of specs. Thanks, 1llusion

Another flavour of Arm Linux. FatdogArm is a port of Fatdog64 to the ARM platform. Currently in Beta release, it is based on Fatdog64 and thus shares much of Fatdog64 features. Like Fatdog64, FatdogArm is intended for desktop-style operations but on the lower-cost ARM-based systems. FatdogArm currently was originally built on A10/Mele A1000 hardware, although it can be easilyadapted for other platforms. These days, FatdogArm is known to run is A20/Cubieboard, Odroid-U2, Odroid-U3, OLPC XO-1.75, OLPC XO-4 Touch, Pandora, Cubox-i i2, Cubox-i i4pro, and Google Nexus7 2012. The porting process of FatdogArm (for Alpha version) is described in details here. FatdogArm fea…

Hello, I'm tearing my hair out. Help would be much appreciated. Initially, I installed Armbian on an SD card and successfully installed tvheadend and got the tuner to scan successfully. Great, or so I thought. Time to build my 'real' system on a eMMC. After many repeated builds, I cannot, for the life of me, get a successful scan. I'm using the 'predefined' network (UK Sutton Coldfield) which worked just fine before. I am running Armbian_20.08.1_Odroidn2_focal_current_5.8.5_desktop. Edit (can only post one per day). JMMC, what did I do different? Probably the order of things. I initially tried to install tvheadend via armbian-config, it didn't do anything. I in…

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a Single board computer suggestion for me to use as a Web surfing mini-station. Think, in the style of poor man's Cafe. I have already done some research based on the pricing, but obviously, that would not always be a good criteria. So, I have assembled here some criteria that I think should be relevant: Pricing Not too expensive, <= $60 Surfing performance Anything that will allow really Smooth video playback on the browser YouTube and the likes sh…

these boards are no longer available, but there are quite a lot of these boards around - they work really well and it would be nice to get an Armbian build for them. There is an image from Odroid for it, but with an outdated 3.14 kernel. There is a working 4.9 Kernel for those boards - I was asking them, if they could update there image with the 4.8 Kernel, but the answer was no - http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=16633&start=100 https://github.com/tobiasjakobi/linux-odroid-public/blob/odroid-4.9.y/README-ODROID.md https://github.com/tobiasjakobi/ http://linux-exynos.org/wiki/Hardkernel_ODROID-X2

Hello all, After reading the Pine forums and having @tkaiser point out a few things I overlooked and/or missed I figured this might be a good place to ask a question that I've been trying to find the answer to. Please note that I'm not much of a hardware guy, I know the basics, enough to be dangerous. I am primarily a web applications developer and I use Raspberry Pis currently as testbeds for my server code. How do I accomplish this? Well I have (currently) a 7 Pi docker swarm based on hypriot's swarm image (I think it's a really cool package). Now for my question: I've been fine on CPU usage with only a few spikes, usually from an issue in the code I've written,…

As a test I updated on a secondary Pihole-Server (buster on NanoPi K1 Plus) the kernel to 5.11.1-dev and at startup Pihole did seem to make some trouble The server isnt getting to the login prompt and on the serial console the last info is "Starting kernel..." I updated some of my SMB-Servers with kernel 5.11.1-deb without problems. Will later try a new resinstall with buster and 5.11.1 and see if Pihole will run on a complete new installation.

Which do you think is the current SBC better suited as a (light) desktop? I think it would not be the one with the fastest CPU, but the one with the better software support for graphics acceleration and general usage. Hi guys! so, i've noted a major difference between the friendlyarm rk3399 sbcs and the other models, ant that's bc the friendly arm rk3399s run at 1866 mhz while the other models run at 1600 mhz. that means 100 glmark2 points less, for example.I would like to know how to use this bootloader instead, and even then, how to even go further. I overclocked my rockpro64 to 2.2 ghz for the big cores and 1.8 for the low power cores. Its interesting how much performance we can get with this cosmetic changes. obviously, its at my own risk. the rockpro64 was tested at higher frequencies than 1866 mhz, so I would expect at least that armbian should b…
