  1. I have a carrier board from codico: https://www.codico.com/en/carrier-board-h-home-control-evb-for-red-yellow-beet-modul I've followed the pdf file from the above link to set up a Rasperry Pi and it all works fine. However, when swapping for my NanoPi Neo Core, even though the drivers load correctly, and I see SPI comms going back and forth on the oscilloscope, I am not connected to the internet. This is what ifconfig returns: What could be the difference between rpi and this board that this happens? Any guidance on how to resolve it would be deeply appreciated!

These vectors are calculated as part of the compression algorthm and should be done on the hardware in real time - just a matter of extracting them. This extraction is done on the Raspberry Pi with "raspivid -x output". It is also exposed in picamera. Does anyone know if there is a similar capability to extract the motion vectors? If not, how one might go about doing this in python/c++? thanks, philip

In /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf I changed: #send host-name = gethostname(); send host-name = $HOSTNAME; Now it works. And $HOSTNAME is just whatever's in /etc/hostname so you may need to change it if you've got 2 or more machines of the same kind. I mostly lug around a cell phone and I can ftp or ssh to rock64 from anywhere in the house.

  50. Good morning, I've got a Libre Computer Renegade, with Amrbian Bullseye minimal (on an sd card) . Changing HDMI monitors (of different sizes and resolutions) the board does not adjust automatically the resolution, so, sometimes the display is unreadable because written are too small, and I can't set a resolution to beng able to use it. 51. Hello I have a 1440p (QHD, 2560x1440) monitor, but whatever I tried it was always giving me 1080p (1920x1080). I'm using Armbian 24.8.1 Noble Gnome and the resolution settings are in the Displays system panel. I noticed people who had similar problems on the Rock5b, the suggested solution did not work, but hinted to dtb files. After examining the /boot/dts tree of Armbian I found 3 files: /boot/dtb/rockchip/overlay/orangepi-5-plus-hdmi2-8k.dtbo /boot/dtb/rockchip/overlay/rock-5b-hdmi1-8k.dtbo and /boot/dtb/rockchip/overlay/rock-5b-hdmi2-8k.dtbo You can decompile the object file with the dtc command from the device-tree-compiler package…

First off this is not a Rockpro64 it is a Rock64 Ver. 2 which the tags field would not let me enter. A couple years ago when I first started playing with the Rock64, I briefly used armbian as the OS. The flickering video was annoying so later I tried Manjaro which worked fairly well. Recently the (Manjaro/Arch) updates (as well as latest images) completely break the HDMI output. Since the system was rendered usless, I downloaded the latest Armbian Jammy hoping for better results. The image loaded from SD fine, I did updates manually fine, and it rebooted fine. The only problem I experience is that that anoying HDMI video flicker. It's worse when there is any s…

  59. Hi, I have an issue that is irritating me, and I'm not sure what to do about it. So on the Helios64 page (I am also using it with the Kobol enclosure), they give you a simple command like this to use: picocom -b 1500000 /dev/ttyUSB0 This is so you can access a serial TTY without an Internet connection. My problem is that the "window size" is set back to 80x24 characters. I'm not sure why this happens. I've also noticed that it somehow sets "TERM=linux" instead of what I have in my host PC's "$TERM" which is "xterm-256color" Is this by design, or is there something strange going on that I don't understand…

Now I have a few questions: Is it because I have only armbian-firmware-full held back, and apt works in my case maybe with armbian-firmware? 98. Started by regsd,

I am using ARMBIAN Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS 4.6.3-cubox on SolidRun HummingBoard-i2eX Dual SoC i.MX6 Dual Single Board Computer. I have an USB 3.0 controller attached to the board (via a PCI slot). As far as I know, xhci_hcd has to be compiled for the controller to function properly. In the default installation, xhci_hcd is disabled ( /boot/config-4.6.3-cubox says: "# CONFIG_USB_XHCI_HCD is not set"). Do I have to setup a complete build environment as descried here http://docs.armbian.com/Developer-Guide_Build-Preparation/ or I can just somehow compile the module on the board itself? Where exactly do I get the sources from? Thanks

  99. Hi. I added a second wireless interface to my Rock64 and created a wifi hotspot using armbian-config. Now .local domains are not resolved anymore. I tried changing in files /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base and /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head IP from 8.8.8.8 to 127.0.0.1 but nothing changed. avahi-resolve-host-name is ok: christian@rock64:~$ avahi-resolve-host-name orangepi2mini.local orangepi2mini.local 192.168.0.12 but christian@rock64:~$ ping orangepi2mini.local ping: orangepi2mini.local: Name or service not known Could anyone point me on what could have gone wrong? Many thanks. Christian
