  2. Easiest way would be using the customization script: https://docs.armbian.com/Developer-Guide_User-Configurations/#user-provided-image-customization-script
  3. Seems like the default for sunxi64 family is v2024.01. You can try manually bumping it by overwriting at board level and see what happens. Example: https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/config/boards/nanopi-r3s.csc
  4. There are actually just a few situations where updating the boot loader makes sense. So when a new u-boot package is shipped it just provides the binaries but does not write them to the boot sector. I think you can use armbian-install to rewrite the boot loader with the latest binaries.
  5. That's normal services usually need a few hours to catch up with stuff once a new tag is released. Try tomorrow. Deprecated. Check docs again.
  6. Maybe you find some clues here: https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/6617/files SoC is the same
  7. There is a write-up about this: https://zuckerbude.org/armbian-using-kernel-config/ Check the tl;dr: part.
  8. Windows doesn't support proper file systems like btrfs or ext4 by default. You need a driver for such in order to read those or use anything but Windows. moved, title replaced
  9. https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_FAQ/#can-i-upgrade-my-userspace-flavor-like-bullseye-to-bookworm-or-jammy-to-noble There is some package (base-files or rootfs, bsp, whatever, cannot remember) that contains this information. Yours is probably outdated. Replace accordingly.
  10. split. tvboxes are unsupported, regardless of any similarity.
  11. Feel free to share them here. So anyone else who might run into this issue can find the solution.
  12. Hi Providing logs with PASTE_SERVER_HOST=paste.armbian.de armbianmonitor -u helps with troubleshooting and significantly raises chances that issue gets addressed.
  13. He's alright, just facing other challenges in life at the moment. Had a chat with him recently.
  14. As expected. Mainline Linux support for rk35xx soc family is still under heavy development. There is a good overview what should work and what does not:https://gitlab.collabora.com/hardware-enablement/rockchip-3588/notes-for-rockchip-3588/-/blob/main/mainline-status.md
  15. Since we host these sources ourselves, you can directly pr against them:https://github.com/armbian/linux-rockchip
  16. look around for topics mentioning h313 which seems to be the soc of your box. Btw. if you box is advertized having more than 2G of memory: congrats, you have been scammed. https://www.allwinnertech.com/uploads/pdf/2020040917181739.pdf
  17. There is no ftp available. http/https only.
  18. Exactly. Kernel support for this board might not be good enough (yet) or even might work just fine but if the hw doesn't cut it, it might be just a big waste of time.
  19. How to get debug serial logs: https://debug.armbian.de
  20. Ideally you'd provide debug serial logs so everyone can get an idea of what happens inside.
  21. I don't think this will increase verbosity even higher. 7 is max https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v6.12/admin-guide/kernel-parameters.html Edit: Actually 8 is max. I think I've misread the manual.
