The new version of u-boot is compatible with the existing official versions of Station and Ubuntu, which are released by Firefly. To upgrade to the new version of u-boot, you need to follow several steps. 1. Download a special version of the image from the link. download link but the download link: Nothing found There's a typo in the link, or the owner deleted the files or restricted access to them. 8. Hi, I have troubled to set an u-boot environment variable of NanopiM4V2. I have tried changing the rootdelay parameter by making /etc/fw_env.config file. However, I don't know how to get the number I have to write in it. NanopiM4V2 is booted from microSD card. ("cat /proc/mtd" is none) If anyone know how to set the /etc/fw_env.config file with booting from microSD card??

  13. I installed this version (v24.11) of Armbian on a Rock Pi 4A Plus with a PoE hat and observed significant network performance issues. When powered via PoE, the network speed becomes extremely slow and unreliable, averaging around 40 kbps. However, when I switch to using a power brick, the network operates as expected, reaching up to 1 Gbps. I also tested an older version (v24.8.4) and found that the network functions correctly with both the PoE hat and power brick. Could anyone provide insights into what might be causing these issues with the newer image?

  14. Hello, friends... The current MIPI DSI driver provided by Rockchip Inc. in older U-Boot versions (v2023 and earlier) is not compatible with U-Boot’s uclass subsystems.(a waste of time if you want to develop). I have done extensive research and made modifications to several files to make it work with the latest U-Boot versions. I have tested it with U-Boot 2023.10, 2024.10 and v2025.rc3 on orange pi 4 lts, and it works perfectly. I'm attaching the necessary files for those who need them. This u-boot driver is nearly identical to Rockchip's Linux kernel driver, uses same driver file but there some limitations because of u-boot system, bu…

  15. Hello, I'm trying to use a NanoPi M4 with an old TV. When the system boots, the TV displays "Invalid resolution." However, it works with a different TV, which unfortunately I cannot use full time. I note that on the working TV, there's a line in dmesg stating "Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 240x67" which would imply that this can be configured somewhere?? However I tried searching, the only docs I get are outdated, for other hardware, or don't work. I tried adding 'disp.screen0_output_mode=1280x720p60' to /boot/armbianEnv.txt, but it had no effect. A pointer as to where these settings are actually controlled would be very helpful. Thanks

I have changed /etc/gdm3/custom.conf, setting AllowRoot=true and /etc/pam.d/gdm-password, disable root quiet setting. Typical of what you do for Debian to enable explicit user/password input of the Gnome greeter. But with Armbian jammy, I still only get the default 'ttt' user forced on me, and the only value I can enter is the password for ttt. How to get the user list to appear so I can select ANY user and enter the password?
