  4. Hello, I have an image based on Armbian 5.37 and I have noticed that after upgrading linux-jessie-root-lime2 from 5.37 to 5.60, the Lime2 was not able to get an IP for eth0. The only way is to execute dhclient eth0 I have noticed that a lot of file was added in linux-jessie-root-lime2_5.60_armhf/data/usr/lib/armbian and I think that one of them are responsible of this issue. Do you have any idea on how to fix that ? Thanks

  7. Hi, I would like to run Armbian Stretch (mainline kernel 4.14.y) on Bananapi M1. Board has an issue - sd card detect pin is broken. In legacy kernel 3.4.y there was an easy workaround to change paramter sdc_detmode = 1 to sdc_detmode = 3 in /boot/script.bin file. How would I do this on 4.14 kernel which as I understand doesn't use script.bin anymore? I setup Virtualbox with Ubuntu 18.04 and I can compile image with default options. I only need guidance in what parameter and in which file to change.

Or was i2s intentionally left out because or some conflict for example? (I had good luck with legacy on Banana Pi Pro a long time ago with fex, so I'm guessing it's a unintended omission?)

  37. I made tests with Orange Pi 2+ to install Armbian to eMMC. But I have no idea why it takes 30 minutes to install. I assume write speed of eMMC to be 5MB/s (ok maybe it is even faster) and Armbian on SD card is about 2.1GB, so it should take ~7 minutes to copy files, plus some more minutes to finish final touches, let's say 15 minutes together. But why it takes more than 30 minutes? Is there any possibility how to reduce this time? P.S. When I am burning armbian img to SD card, in 5 minutes I am ready to go and boot the system.

I can't find any mention of YouTube in the documentation, and only video URLs in the forum. Is there some trick I have missed?

[H5: Nanopi neo core 2] I observe the UART Rx line to be influenced by the RTS line which I am using during sending. Is there a way to enable an internal pull-up on Rx so that this doesn't happen? I suspect it's the cause of communication errors that I observe. I confess that I am currently on a FriendlyCore 4.16 build, but I wouldn't expect such an issue to be too distribution-specific.

I've set up my new OPi Zero as a wireless AP running the latest Armbian build for the OPi0. It's working mostly great. My one problem I'm having is that my speeds seem to be throttled to 5-6Mbps. I connect wirelessly from my phone and run a speed test and get 5-6Mbps. If I connect directly to my router, I get 30Mbps. I have a Rpi3 set up about the same as the OPi0, and when I connect it up I get the full 30. Each time I've tested with the OPi and RPi, my phone is the only device connected. So, I've poked around online and I can't seem to figure out if it's a hardware limitation or if it's a software/driver/setting limitation. Also, if it's the latter, how/where to…

I use uptime to test the system load, when boot, the 1min load will be at 3.xx and go down slowly. When no task, the load will lower than 0.5.
