Since the specific USB hardware support is now in place, I thought it would be good to discuss pitfalls and remedies for transitioning to a modern kernel. I have now tested the 6.8.5 based Armbian. None of the latest packages (.408 - .411) come up with HDMI output. You have to have a serial console connected, and then correct the problems. 1) This is what you are greeted with: [ 6.828040] panthor fb000000.gpu: [drm] *ERROR* Failed to load firmware image 'mali_csffw.bin' To fix this do apt install armbian-firmware-full and reboot 2) The 8821cu driver has performance problems. Also, the stupid "windows" adapter comes up …

Hi, I received my new rock64 today and I downloaded this image https://dl.armbian.com/rock64/Debian_stretch_default_desktop.7z I used Etcher as recommended to create the SD card and booted off of it with just power and network connected as I assumed it would boot, assign a dhcp address and bring up sshd so I could remote onto it. I scanned my network to see if any new devices had been added with dhcp, but couldn't see anything new so I connected the rock64 up to a TV and then booted it up, connected up a keyboard and noticed it ran through an install process on first local login. I followed all the directions and a desktop appeared on s…

I recently plugged in a 4TB Seagate Expansion hard drive and it worked fine. After rebooting the Rockpi4B via 'sudo reboot' the drive is not recognised - dmesg shows: [ 3.877060] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Unit Not Ready [ 3.877082] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Sense Key : 0x4 [current] [ 3.877094] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] ASC=0x44 <<vendor>>ASCQ=0x81 Any ideas?

Hello, I have read some threats with the same issue, armbian images are not booting, there is not HDMI signal when turn on rockpi4. General solution is trying armbian image stored on radxa server https://dl.radxa.com/rockpi/images/third-party/Armbian_5.67_Rockpi4b_Debian_stretch_default_4.4.154_desktop_20181210-gpt.img.gz this armbian version works fine but it's too old, also i'm interested to use latest armbian-ubuntu-bionic My case: I have a new rockpi4b 1.4v, not eMMC module, I have flashed several armbian versions on sdCard : https://dl.armbian.com/rockpi-4b/Bionic_legacy_desktop https://dl.armbian.com/rockpi-4b/Buster_legacy htt…

Hello, Recently the HDD Cable Harness for my Helios64 malfunctioned. SATA Ports 1 and 2 are both no longer getting power/HDDs are not spinning up. I confirmed that it was power by plugging the SATA cable into ports 3, 4, and 5 on the motherboard which all function. I also iterated through the system by removing all the HDD's and testing each HDD slot one at a time. All 5 HDDs fucntion individually in a USB drive enclosure, and all 5 function in my server system and I can mount the RAID array. My question is, does anyone know how to contact the Helios/Kobol team so I can purchase a replacement HDD Harness Cable? …

The strangest thing happened today. I switched of my rok64 rev.2 and connected to my PC to move the files of my USB HDD. My plan was to change the disk format from NTFS to EXT4. Then when i plugged it back in the rock64 wouldn't boot properly. Turns out my USB 3 port isn't working anymore with the USB HDD or any other USB drive. The light comes on for my SSD but fdisk -l doesn't see it. Could one of the firmware updates broken it? UPDATE... I downloaded the latest Ayufun arm64 bionic build and booted from this. My USB 3 HDD was picked up fine. I've gone back to the new Armbian Bionic build and it doesn't wo…

Hello, I've got my Helios64 since a few week now and enjoying it a lot. I've installed k3s on it with various applications. The next step is to install home assistant to control my home. Previously, I've already had a setup with a RaspberryPi with a Arduino Mega connected, that is running the rflink firmware. That way I, can control cheap 433Mhz power switches. The problem is, when I connect the Arduino (acting as a serial input device) to my Helios64, the system does not startup anymore. The following error message is printed on the serial console: WARN halted endpoint, queueing URB anyway. Unexpected XHCI event TRB, skipping... (f5f5deb…

Hello, I have installed the currently provided image "Armbian_24.11.1_Nanopct6_bookworm_current_6.12.0_minimal.img.xz" on my NanoPC-T6 (not LTS). Unfortuantely the only one USB3 port is not working. So no local access is possible and no external USB storage device can be used. I wonder if no one else has such problem reported yet since 3 weeks now (released 2024-11-21). The USB3 port is working with the FriendlyELEC image (rk3588-sd-debian-bookworm-core-6.1-arm64-20241112.img.gz), so maybe there is a small problem with a kernel module or the device tree. If someone can guide me to a starting point for investigation, I can do some debugging. I have little…

I just received my Helios64 system and built it today. The build included 3 drives, a SSD in port 1 and two HHD's on port 2 and 3. After the build, I installed Debian Kernel: 5.8 on an micro SD card. The system booted but only showed the drives in port 2 and 3. I have moved the drive in port 1 to port 4, rebooted and the SSD drive shows up. Also, a HDD in port 1 does not show up: no blue Light on the front panel and not visible in "fdisk -l" . The output from ' dmesg | grep "ata" ' results in: Spoiler [ 0.000000] Memory: 3742212K/4061184K available (14460K kernel code, 2114K rwdata, 5920K rodata, 4160K init, 572K bss, 187900K reserved, 131072K …

Hey guys, I installed Armbian some months ago in my Rock64 and I had never updated the packages. Yesterday I decided to do an apt update + apt upgrade to update one of the applications I use. I noticed that meanwhile apt updated Armbian itself, and began to ask for a reboot. A few hours later I rebooted the board. At first I couldn't connect due to connection refusal, so I went plugged a keyboard and hdmi on the board to see what was happening. It looks like while doing this I unplugged the power source suddenly, and now the board won't boot the system in this OS. No image or response in the USB keyboard. …

Hello Everyone, Unfortunately my helios64 is not glowing any power LED. As soon as I connect the power supply it only shows a blinking orange LED light, that is basically for the battery status. When there is a kernel panic the fans stop which causes the HDD and CPU temperatures to rise unchecked. I've just come back to find my board has crashed again and the HDD temperatures had risen above 60c which is not good. Is there a watchdog or boot setting to automatically reset the processor after a kernel panic ?

Bigtreetech CB2 and Pi 2 released somewhat recently (April 20th). They use RK3566 and have a lot of nice features. The board and module are intended for 3d printer use but can be used just like any other pi. There is an official linux image on bigtreetech github, and it seems it's a slightly customized armbian. I propose copying that configuration and adding it as a supported board. This is a bit of a personal tangent, but I was also thinking of how I can submit the device tree files to the mainline linux kernel, would that be a good idea? I'm planning to use or at least try Alpine on the board and it would be nice to have the needed files in the linux package…

Hi everybody, I recently set up a small server with the Rock64 booting armbian stretch 5.59 stable directly from a 120 GB SSD attached via USB3. Booting is handled with U-Boot from ayufan on the SPI flash. The Rock64 is board revision 2.0, the power supply is the original Pine64 one for the Rock. Besides the SSD, there are no other peripherals connected. The board often (3 out of 4 times) hangs when booting. In this case, all LEDs are lit, the orange network LED will flash and the board is not reachable by SSH and not pingable. My impression is, that it is stuck because the SSD either powered up too late or the USB connection is delayed. However, I…

Hello, so we use Kobol 64 with OMV since 4 months, and no problem at all. Just yesterday, want to change Ethernet cable, correctly shutdown the Helios64 NAS, and impossible to start it again. Just have the right system light, but left LED no blinking, no information in the USBC terminal. For the "recovery", press the recovery button, and then press the power button, and the LED System don't light up. What can we do, format the system, and reinstall OMV with all parameters... Not really serious, ins't it ? Thank you for any help. Regard.

I have tried the Debian image for ROCK5B and the Gnome GUI works fine there. I have installed OMV via armbian-config (software). After that I tried to install Nextcloud the same way. In the process I noticed that Apache2 does not start due to a port mismatch (port 80). I was able to determine that obviously the web server nginx is already installed and used for OMV. Can someone please explain to me if this is intentional or if I made a mistake during the installation? Is it possible not to install OMV and Nextcloud in parallel? How can I solve this?

Hello everyone, I have an OrangePi 4 that will serve as an interface for the electric car chargers that are produced in my company. We currently use Raspberry 3 and we want to upgrade to the OrangePi 4, mainly because it has eMMc. The problem is that the interface we have was designed to work on Raspberry. I put the SD card with the image in the OrangePi but it starts with the system that has been installed on eMMc (Armbian). Can you tell me if it will be very difficult for the image we use in Rpi to be possible to install on OrangePi? Another thing I want to do is move from the Armbian that I have currently installed on eMMc to Debian, h…

So I did the upgrade to OMV6 (and associated kernel update Linux 5.15.93-rockchip64). Now in the mornings or after long periods of no interaction, the Helios enters an unresponsive state where none of the docker containers respond and I can no longer ssh in. There is still some sporadic noise comming from hard drives doing things and lights on the front are showing it's not completely frozen. I suspect it's attempting to enter some kind of suspend / hibernate state that is not appropriate for this system. Which would be the appropriate log file to go hunting for answers for sleep/hibernate issues on Armbian? And what w…

My Helios64 setup has been running stable for months now (except for one MOSFET that failed and had to be replaced), however after recent updates using the OMV5 package manager I am unable to transfer files to my computer (SMB shares). When trying to transfer to a Windows computer the transfer speed immediately plummets to 0, stays there forever or File Explorer crashes/stops responding. When transferring to an Ubuntu system the transfer time outs. I can browse the files on the SMB share, I can play them (movies, music, etc) or run them directly with no issues. I can transfer files using scp with no problem (just at much reduced speed/bandw…

Started to test Armbian_19.11.5_Rockpi-4b_buster_current_5.4.6.img and I could not boot off of the eMMC. Hi all, I am running armbian bookworm on a nanopi r6c (rk3588). At boot, wireguard does not resolve the endpoint (strange, because it runs after network-online.target) and instead of keep trying, it gives up. If I manually restart it, all is good. Attached screenshots show the different behaviour in a raspberry pi (rpi4 as hostname) running raspios, where it keeps trying to resolve the endpoint, and nanopi r6c not retrying. I will recompile kernel to enable wireguard debug (or is there a quicker way?)

I'm using Armbian 20.11.1 Focal (5.9.11-rockchip64) on my Helios64. When there's heavier load via ethernet (SFTP to a SATA Ultrastar 12TB disk) for something like more than an hour, the entire system will freeze. Not sure if it actually does freeze but I lose all SSH connections and cannot connect anymore via SSH unless I restart the Helios64. Happened today 4 times and it's totally reproducible. Haven't tested another drive yet. What makes this difficult to debug is that under /var/log/syslog or kern.log or faillog nothing relevant is being written as to in what state the device is. Is this a known issue? How can I find out what the problem i…

I've been trying to get OMV setup on the Helios prior to adding my hard drives and I keep getting errors and communication failures when I try to do pretty much anything. I like OMV for it's GUI, but honestly, I've never been a fan of it functionally. Is there anything comparable to it that works with the Helios64? Anyone have any suggestions how to fix it? I have logs but I don't see a place to attach them.

I've been trying to connect a USB hdd for a while now, and depending on the SATA disk and the USB<->Sata adapter I've had different behaviours : * 700mA hdd * Adapter A works, can mount and copy * Adapter B is detected, the SATA device too in dmesg, but does not appear in lsblk. * 1A hdd (Seagate Barracuda 2To 2.5'') * Adapter A seems to be detected, the disk tries to start (sde is showing in dmesg) but usb device disappears, reappears etc ("usb disk bootloop") * Adapter B is not even detected in dmesg or lsusb ! Obviously, the 4 configurations perfectly work on a x86 host. What could be going on ? I'm pr…

I think I found a regression: It seems the USB 3.0 port is not working with kernel 5.10.160. It was working with kernel 5.10.110. So I have two questions: 1. How do I file a bug-report ? 2. Linux 6.3 officially supports the rockchip-rk3588 (6.4 is out). When can we expect a kernel update and which kernel version would that be? Thank you

I've been hopelessly trying to get Armbian(Buster) and OMV to work together properly. But alas no luck. I decided to start over using a fresh and latest image on the SD card. I believe I may have unwittingly screwed up the eMMC boot process because I added an M.2 SATA drive in yesterday and have since removed it. Hence my quest to simply get the SBC up and running from the SD card. I have tried everything this morning, I cannot get an image to load at all. One of my questions is; do the hard drives need to be installed just to get the SBC working? I have tried with them in and out to no avail. Are there some lingering config files residing on the HDs th…

It’s been 3 months since we posted on our blog. While we have been pretty active on Armbian/Kobol forum for support and still working at improving the software support and stability, we have been developing in parallel the new iteration of Helios64 around the latest Rockchip SoC RK3568. However things haven’t been progressing as fast as we would have wished. Looking back, 2020 has been a very challenging year to deliver a new product and it took quite a toll on the small team we are. Our energy level is a bit low and we still haven’t really recovered. Now with electronic part prices surge and crazy lead time, it’s even harder to have business visibility in an …

Hello, Recently I tried to make pwm control on my Nanopi M4. Beside the PWM pin on the 24 pin connector (the one which actually controls the voltage output on 12V 2 pin connector for fan), I wonder if it is possible to use GPIO pins on the 40 pin connector as pwm pins to control fans. I tried to set pwmchip0 and literally checked every pin by connecting the wire to each one of them but I couldn't find that any othe these GPIO react on any settings I made on pwmchip0 pwm0. Does anyone know how to do this? Best Regards.

Hi! I am trying the vanilla 5.15 kernel which has support for helios64. The system is booting, disks, MMC and network are working. But fancontrol fails. It seems the /sys entries have changed and the udev rules are not working. I've tried to understand the wiki page in order to adapt the udev rules and fancontrol config file but I am a little bit lost. Is there updated versions of those config files? Kind regards, Xavier Miller.

I have some questions about the Linux images that Ayufan built for the Rock64 board. Not really technical issues so I did not think they should go on the Github page. If this is not the appropriate place for these, let me now and I'll remove this post. Also, if this is not the place, where should I be asking these types of questions? I just downloaded the new PRE-RELEASE version of Debian Stretch from the Github page (Yes, I know it's bleeding edge, but just experimenting for now). Specifically the stretch-minimal-rock64-0.6.5-152-arm64 image. I just burned it to my eMMC board. Will boot and see how it all works tomorrow. There are a number of…

After recent kernel update, USB3.0 ports no longer work, There is an error printed in kernel log. [ 2.826383] phy phy-ff800000.phy.6: phy poweron failed --> -110 [ 2.827119] dwc3 fe900000.usb: error -ETIMEDOUT: failed to initialize core [ 2.827881] dwc3: probe of fe900000.usb failed with error -110 I found this issue in NanoPC T4, but it might also appear in other RK3399 boards. lsusb didn't show any USB3.0 controller. Confirmed this isn't my hardware's problem, another board have this issue too. dwc3.txt

As I reported here (https://github.com/armbian/build/issues/1230), I'm seeing frequent reboots and Kernel Panics on a RK3399 board while running ElasticSearch, a kinda heavy application that runs on Java. I currently run a Kubernetes cluster on two RK3399 boards (NanoPC-T4). One of them I has a version of DietPi with a Kernel 4.4.138 compiled by myself. and runs perfectly. The other had a newer version of a Kernel (4.4.154) also compiled by me and that's where I started seeing the reboots. After this, I installed Armbian thinking it might be something with my DietPi distro. I installed 5.69 with Kernel 4.4.167 and saw the same problems. I did a ful…

Focal / root on eMMC / ZFS on hdd / LXD / Docker I received my Helios64 yesterday, installed the system, and decided to write down my steps before I forget them. Maybe someone will be interested. :-) Preparation: Assembly your box as described here. Download Armbian Focal image from here and flash it to SD card. You may use Ether. Insert the SD card to your Helios64 and boot. After 15-20s the box should be accessible via ssh. (Of course you have to find out it's IP address somehow. For example check your router logs or use this.) First login: ssh root@IP Password: 1234 After prompt - change passw…

Hi, i just received my Rock 4 Se and a 32GB eMMC module today, and i'm currently not sure if the Image is incompatible, or if my storage modules are broken. I tried emmc standalone and SD for boot with nvme (from an dell notebook) for rootfs When i use the emmc, the filesystem goes into read only as soon as i do some apt upgrade. On reboot i often end up in initramfs nd have to fsck. I could gether some dmesg output: After this trace i get a lot of I/O Errors: Im not sure if this is an os or an emmc module issue. Any guess whats going wrong here? after that i coppied the current…

I suggest adding a small patch for all u-boot for rk33xx. It allows to enable direct booting from USB media and significantly facilitates the use of RK33xx models for users. Allows you to easily launch any system from USB without the need for complex settings and manipulations with existing (main) systems on devices on SD or eMMC. The entire path fits in two lines. https://github.com/150balbes/Build-Armbian/blob/master/patch/u-boot/u-boot-arm-64/u-boot-0010-rk-usb-start.patch#L18

I'm using a Rock 5 ITX and noticed after installing the latest rk35xx kernel image (6.1.84-vendor-rk35xx) that my system wasn't booting. So I connected to the debug console and observed a kernel oops being emitted. It dumps out a few pages of data, but the initial messages and call trace are: I have all the hex data if someone would use it but it doesn't seem worth including here. The boot flounders around in systemd for a bit but never gets to a login prompt - and I'm not that savvy with uboot to enter single user mode or otherwise dig in more. So I reinstalled from nothing, upgraded all my packages (including the vendor-rk35xx kernel), …

Hi all, For the past few days, I've been trying to SSH into my NanoPi Neo3, but I keep getting the "Incorrect password" error. I have been trying to run the bookworm minimal image for the Radxa Rock 2F with poor results. Wifi stops working after an "armbian-upgrade" and after apt upgrade. Doing an nmcli -p r results in WIFI-HW missing response. It seems to me that after the upgrade, something is wrong with the aic8800 driver module. Unfortunately I am too ignorant to be of much help, but any suggestions would be most welcome. Thank you.

Hello community, I am running Armbian taken from here on Radxa Rock 4c+. Everything I need seems to be in order (including wifi) but there appears to be no bluetooth device present (it is there using Radxa's images which have old kernels though). I tried to find out what could be the reason and noticed that dtb coming with Radxa has this: wireless-bluetooth { uart0-gpios { rockchip, pins = <0x02 0x13 0x00 0xd0>; phandle = <0xf1>; }; }; in pincntrl section and few other bluetooth/uart related bits while one coming with Armbian does not. I am not sure if this is the root cause and what the easiest way …

If anyone is interested, I've created a shell script that can be run with cron to check A/C and battery status, and do a graceful shutdown when a battery threshold is met. It also logs power outages, battery drain when off A/C, and when it posts a shutdown (if any). This is a simple script, nothing fancy, but works for me. It has a granularity of one minute (cron is limited to one minute intervals), but I've been able to keep the system up on heavy load for 4-5 minutes before the script generates a shutdown on low battery. The script is generous -- it waits for 916mV or less before a shut-down. This value was provided by the KOBOL team on their Wiki as the…

Hello everyone, I’m starting this message by apologizing for my poor English (I am French) and also by informing you that I am a newbie with Linux. I have a big problem with my NAS Helios64. At first, I thought this problem was caused by OMV. So I went to the OMV forum to explain my situation. I created the following topic: https://forum.openmediavault.org/index.php?thread/40252-many-problems-after-an-update/&pageNo=1 . There, a kind moderator (macom) asked me to enter some instructions to try to pinpoint the root of the problem. After giving him some outputs, he told me: "For me it looks like your SD card is dead." My i…

Hi Armbians :) Armbian's discontinued support of the NanoPi Neo3 board, hit me very hard. I have operated multiple of these SBCs with Armbian very stable, in different DCs for a long time. Because of the defunctional kernel under Armbian, I was forced to look around for alternatives and only came across Manjaro, DietPi and Friendlyarm published by FriendlyElec themself. Unfortunately I was not happy with Manjaro and Friendlyarm. Dietpi, on the other hand, seems to be doing quite well till now. And most importantly, it doesn't seem to have the kernel/ reboot problem that affected Armbian. But how can that be if it's based on Armbi…

To continue discussion from Helios64 Support Currently there is no plan to support to disable the power but it's interesting to know such use case. If we implemented this feature, you would need to go u-boot prompt to enable and disable the power. would this acceptable for you? Under Linux device tree, the power rail declared as regulator node with regulator-always-on property. This prevent kernel (and user) to turn off the regulator. Unless we are able to create device node for the SATA port, to act as consumer of the regulator, we can't remove the regulator-always-on property.

Had anyone tested DAS mode performance with Capture One? Or could someone explain to me how it works? Also, would C1 show the DAS mode and NAS mode as seperate volumes or is it smart enough to show up as the same one? Background: Capture One doesn't work well with network drives. Editing images, moving raw files, even saving catalog backups is dramatically slower on a NAS than a DAS or internal drive. It doesn't matter how fast the drive or network is. Its a long standing bug they're always quick to say they aren't prioritizing fixing. I've looked at other NAS's that do a DAS mode by running a 10GBE connection over thunderbolt and that's a great solution in ev…

Hi there, as the Chinese market is missing "in stock" OPi4 (not B), RockPi 4B (for more than a month) I am looking for alternative. Found "Asus Tinker Board 2", same RK3399, 4GB RAM, 4xUSB3 as plus (OPi4 has 2x3.0 + 2x2.0, AFAIK). https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005002304966362.html Is it compatible with Armbian or have I to wait until OPi4 / Rock Pi 4B will be available? Let's divide it into parts - Bluetooth Bluetooth isn't working. I've tried activating UART7 and GPIO pins 19 and 22, but to no avail. I installed the drivers, but to no avail. Bluetooth isn't communicating! - Audio ES8388 For some unknown reason, the ES8388 has audio disabled by default on the ASA. To fix this, simply go to the terminal and run the command user@user alsamixer Then use the buttons to move around until you find OUT1. Out1 above it says MM (mute), so click M to make it 00 with a green background. Audio problem solved - Language I can't set the language to Portuguese in the Gnom…

While I like having the helios-ups.timer in case of power failure, I don't like that my logs get three lines written to them every 20 seconds. Apr 09 07:43:26 helios64 systemd[1]: Starting Helios64 UPS Action... Apr 09 07:43:26 helios64 systemd[1]: helios64-ups.service: Succeeded. Apr 09 07:43:26 helios64 systemd[1]: Finished Helios64 UPS Action. Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the timer on but not fill the logs this way? Everything I've found about silencing systemd messages is about the output of the command, not the systemd activity itself.

hey, this change https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/2010/files made my rockpi-4b (with 4GB ram) finally stable some time ago DDR_BLOB='rk33/rk3399_ddr_933MHz_v1.20.bin' #instead of 1.24 After messing with rx/tx offloading, this was the solution, no more failed apt and download errors, great! It seems that this change got lost in the transition to the new u-boot / different logical structure or is not needed anymore for the 1GB models it was mentioned originally, see here: https://github.com/armbian/build/commit/f2db96252530d2f5585755b518e7fd020b5f0392#diff-18c1f509b638f24dc14854e6af5173bb Any chance to get it back for rockpi-4…

Hi there, I have a rockpi 4b running armbian bionic desktop legacy kernel 4.4y on a 128 GB emmc module, I’d like to use this machine as a server. Hi all, built an image for the nanopi m4v2 today using this command line from the build folder ./compile.sh BOARD=nanopim4v2 BRANCH=current BUILD_DESKTOP=no BUILD_MINIMAL=no KERNEL_CONFIGURE=no RELEASE=jammy the build completed successfuly so I flashed it to an sdcard, the problem is is won't boot, I used my newly found skill ( thanks @Werner ) and connected my UART serial TTL cable. The output is rather verbose so apologies up front - does this mean anything to anyone here. The build is the same as I normally do and it's worked fine until today.

Hello, I have a Rock64 V2 which I am using as a Tvheadend server, among other stuff. For some months I put the kernel/dtb packages on hold, because I discovered that linux-image-rockchip64 after version 5.75 did not include the kernel module for th USB DVB-T stick I need (an EyeTV DVB-T device, i.e. a clone of Hauppauge), that is dvb-usb-dib0700 or the like (I am trying to remember). I have recently unhold the Linux packages and let apt to update them. Now at version 5.90, I see that the kernel module is still not included, and my USB device cannot be used. Going back to Linux image 5.75 makes the stick to work again, but I'd like to have the lates…

I tried booting off without the SD Card, trying to flash another OS with the SD card and read out the TTL and this is what I get: DDR Version 1.25 20210517 In channel 0 CS = 0 MR0=0x18 MR4=0x2 MR5=0x1 MR8=0x10 MR12=0x72 MR14=0x72 MR18=0x0 MR19=0x0 MR24=0x8 MR25=0x0 channel 1 CS = 0 MR0=0x18 MR4=0x2 MR5=0x1 MR8=0x10 MR12=0x72 MR14=0x72 MR18=0x…

Hi all. In download section i do see "large heatsink required" for Rock64. Can anyone post any links to eamples of good heatsink with proper size ? I will be migrating "home server" from Cubieboard2 to Rock64 and chasing long-term stable operation. When board just booted and "does nothing", cpu remains pretty cool. However i'd better be prepared. thanks in advance for tips.

Hello, I think this is my first post here. I am trying to operate an Epson L4150 on-board Rock pi4 b multifunction printer. I was successful in running the printer. But the scanner is another story. Xsane does not recognize it. I have been trying to install the driver which is downloaded from the Epson page, but it is for armhf. I tried a dpkg --add-architecture armhf, then update, but when I try to run install.sh from the Epson driver, it throws error: E: Failed to locate package libboost-filesystem1.58.0 Somebody could help me? Thank you
