Hi, welcome everyone. I’m using an H50 TV box that I was about to throw away because I thought I had completely bricked it. I disassembled it and found the pins to activate maskrom mode. Hi there, I’m trying to run armbian on cs918 plus tv box with rk3288 cpu. I am using image from this site for xt-q8l-v10 boards. It boots into uboot and shows Ethernet error “ethernete@ff290000 Waiting for PHY auto negotiation to complete. .. I have used lots in my time but recently changed to this. I can't get RKMC to access my shared folders because, when I enter the address with back slashes it changes them into forward slashes. With VLC it works perfectly but is unusable without sorting by descending date. Why does it swap the slashes/??? I prefer RKMC to VLC

I bought this TV set-top box the other day in order to install armbian and install klipper for a 3d printer, however, my board is a little different from others and when I try to flash through multitool, the red indicator lights up and flashes yellow, I bought a set-top box with 1 GB of ram because this is enough for a Klipper (RK3228a, 1gb ram, 8gb memory), I hope very much for your help!

edit: Found the solution Got this tv box "x88pro 10" repurposed to run armbian by someone and it demands login/password. The default one(root 1234) doesn't work. Also I can't seem to stop the loading process and get to grub to try and delete passwords manually from there(tried pressing random keys during boot, tried holding shift). Hi, I am a total newb with a few too many holes in my ozone layer. I have managed to use the Multitool and an image of Armbian from Inovato that runs on their Quadra SBC. I have managed to get my old H96Max to run software called WSJT-X from Joe Taylor and his team at Princeton. I have had a lot of fun and am still having a lot of fun running the H96Max (RK3318) the radio is a small rig called the QDX from QRP Labs. I run it (the computer) off a Powerbank and although it doesn't always boot it is very much a 'less is more' machine for my mind and is grand 99% of the time. Hello all. I have an Android-based Yundoo Y8 TV box, which I want to use for UPS management. I want it to be able to run Armbian to install the UPS management software, but I cannot figure out which Armbian I should download. The board is based on Rockchip RK3399. In cpu-z app I see the board identified as rk30sdk, and the hardware is rk30board. Can you please help me identify the board so I can understand which version of Armbian I need? I couldn't find anything in the forum about RK3399... I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I got an Armbian image from this thread. The image works wonderful, the only thing I would like to do is to install the system to the internal NAND of the device. I have something simillar to Minix Neo x7 mini, with RK3188 SoC. As I say, the image works perfectly, I just wanna know if there's any way to transfer that image directly onto the internal NAND so I don't have to use the SD card. I understand that the standard SliTaz ISO is for x86 architecture, but my device uses ARM. Is there any ARM-compatible version of SliTaz that could run on this hardware? Or is there a way to build a custom ARM rootfs with the SliTaz ARM toolchain and use it with a compatible kernel and bootloader? Any help, guidance, or example would be greatly appreciated! I read the instructions and successfully flashed my box but when I run "sudo rk322x-config" I can only choose the CPU and eMMC then it ends and I am back to terminal prompt. I can see in the config screen that the WiFi chip is recognised as "south silicon valley 6051p 6256p" but I can't enable it. Under connections I can only see ethernet. What am I doing wrong? When I try to compile Ubuntu 22.04 from this repository https://github.com/armbian/build, the selection for kernel are "current" or "edge". I selected "current", and later I found its kernel is 6.12.21. I have tried to use armbian-config to downgrade the kernel, but the earliest selection is 6.6. Then I tried to downgrade the kernel through apt, but there were no 6.1 edition. Thus, I decided to change the kernel through "Mainline Kernels" and install the 6.1.132 kernel. Hi, I've got this old board from 2015/2016 with an rk3229. It is running Android 6 with a Linux kernel version 3.x compiled for the rk322x family. The board is branded as Leelbox Q1 but on the PCB it is marked as an MXQ-Q1. I have not found much info about either on this forum. I've tried the multitool image, along with three or four minimal armbian images (both current, legacy and even some builds from 2019) but nothing seems to boot. I'm looking for help porting to an RK3328-based device, the REV Robotics Control Hub. It ships running a custom version of Android 7. The compute board's physical layout is based on the 96Boards CE spec, and is visibly extremely similar to the Dragonboard 410c (https://www.96boards.org/product/dragonboard410c/). Hi I'm currently running Armbian on my Minix NEO X7 box. The video works, but I can't really get the ethernet working. The reason for it is that the ethernet is controlled by some of the GPIO pins, so basically the ethernet chip (not onboard, it has an USB external onboard chip) is shut down by the GPIO. I've tried to extract the dts file from my Android ROM without any luck, mainly because the kernel of the image (Finless ROM v1.7) is too old to even contain one. Does anyone have any working dts file that would bring the ethernet port back to life, or do I have to bypass the GPIO, so I can access the ethernet? Thanks for all the replies

I have a Measy (R-BOX) U4C rk3188. Before I recycled it I thought I would try to get a linux kernel running on it and found this these posts. I experimented with Armbian_21.02.0-trunk_Rk3188_focal_current_5.10.6_xfce_desktop.img from 13JAN. (Thanks Balbes!) It boots with rk3188-rbox-cs968.dtb and most everything works but the video ouput is color shifted. So HDMI video output is fine but the colors wrong and HDMI audio is not working. I've burned the image of Multitool on an SD card, then i placed the image of Armbian in the "images" folder, and then i placed the SD card in my box and connected it to the electricity. Hey guys, i am in trouble with my device (T95Plus, rk3566). Its no longer detected by windows using the usb-otg cable and Android Tool. So i can't reflash the original firmware. I compiled a custom u-boot for rk3566 with bootefi command added. I copied it over to partition 2 of the emmc where the original u-boot was located. Since then its broken. I thought its bricked, but DigitalDaz told me, its only softbricked. Anyway it logs the output over the uart port very well. Hello to all recently i installed armbian in a tvbox. Everything worked fine, except the infrared and the wifi, i used it with ethernet. Suddenly after a reboot i got an error Missing modules (cat proc/modules: Is /dev) ALERT UUID-16bb1d19-3ee3-119r-Be32-9920fr7d190a does not exist. Dropping to a shell! Hello everyone, I'm working with a JR3288lc development board with a Rockchip RK3288 processor and I'm currently facing a Bluetooth detection issue. I'm using the official Debian 9 image provided by the manufacturer, but the system doesn't see the Bluetooth module at all. When I check the dmesg output, I see a specific parsing error related to the power GPIO in the Device Tree. It seems the kernel can't parse the power feature, which is preventing the module from working. How can I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have armbian image Armbian_21.11.0-trunk_Rk3318-box_bullseye_edge_5.14.14_minimal.img installed on an N5 Nova TV box. I tested it running from the sd card and it works fine and reboots without any issues. however, when i installed it to the eMMC using the burn image selection from Mulitool, it boots the first time OK but then never boots on its own afterwards. My only recourse was to re-install it to an sd card again Has anyone seen this issue and any comments would be greatly appreciated

I have a RK3328 android tv box. After flashing new firmware to it, using Rockchip Batch Tool, the box, connected to the tv, shows briefly RK3328 logo on tv screen, and then black screen. After that, I connect the box to the computer using usb cable, without pressing reset button on the box. Rockchip Batch Tool software, under the Connected Device, shows a green symbol.
