  1. Hello, does this USB WiFi card work with armbian on Orange Pi 3 LTS? TP-Link Nano AC600 USB Wifi Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PB1X4CN/ Does it need any drivers to be installed? If yes, is there any that is working with OPi 3 LTS? Btw I want to use this wifi adapter, because Armbian doesn't work with internal wifi card in this SBC - https://forum.armbian.com/topic/23505-orange-pi-3-lts-no-wifi/ (and sadly Devs didn't release a fix for it)

  10. Hello, In a GOLANG based, RPi 3B+ project I am using the https://github.com/stianeikeland/go-rpio package to read the state of the GPIO-s. I am planning to set up some Banana Pi M2 Berries with the same software. The package - as it was expected - doesn't work with the M2 Berry. I could adapt the package for the Berry, but I don't know which peripheral chip is used in it. Does anyone know which peripheral chip is used in the Berry? (The schematic diagram on BPI's page is useless). Thanks, G.

  33. Armbianmonitor: http://ix.io/4cYv Hi I'm trying (and failing miserably) to achieve a simple goal with my Orange Pi 3 LTS: to have pin PD15 set as 'output-high' on startup. From reading the documentation, it seems the logical way to go about this task is to create a custom DT Overlay so that's what I set out to do. The device tree overlay is /dts-v1/; /plugin/; / { compatible = "allwinner,sun50i-a64"; fragment@0 { target = <&pio>; __overlay__ { gpio_out_override_hog { gpio-hog; gpios = <192 0>; /* PG0 */ output-high; line-name = "PG0-gpio-hog"; }; }; }; }; However, after the application and reboot, I do not see any init information in "/sys/kernel/gpio" about GPIO 192. There is no "/sys/class/gpio/gpio192" folder existed after boot either. Is there anything wrong in the overlay file?

Hello fellow Armbianers! I'm using Orange Pi zero. My only complaint is the 30s boot time. Looking at the log files, seems like it only takes 5 seconds to boot once the kernel is loaded. The majority of this 30s is spent in uboot somewhere? Does anyone know how to speed up this boot process? I'm always just booting from SD card, don't need USB boot/network boot, console, or any of that. Thanks!

Hello I have Opi lite 2 + 28byj-48 driver and step motor, and I want to play around, but can't find RPi.GPIO for OPi lite 2, how can I make it work ? I find pretty good example with raspberry pi http://www.raspberryproject.pl/en/automation/28byj-48-stepper-motor-raspberry-pi/ , I rearranged GPIOs to fit my board but I have error: File "testy.py", line 4, in <module> import RPi.GPIO as GPIO ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'RPi' Welcome to ARMBIAN 5.67.181116 nightly Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS 4.19.2-sunxi64

  49. I am getting significant graphical issues with most programs on the "Jammy Gnome desktop" version. I also saw similar issues under KDE desktop after clicking a button relating to OpenGL in the graphics settings (and couldn't figure out how to get that dialog back or undo the setting). I would prefer to stick with Gnome, I assume this issue has something to do with hardware/graphics acceleration having an issue, the application launcher seems to be immune from the issue. Sorry, I am quite a noob when it comes to Linux/programming related stuff, I couldn't find any other mentions about similar issues in this forum. The issue happens on both this 5" LCD and an HDMI TV at 4k.

Hi there, OK, here's the picture: brand new Orange PI 3 LTS, made SD card with Armbian 22.08 sid - didn't boot; made SD card with Armbian 22.05 Jammy - still the same result. Because after removing the SD card, I was able to get the same result with just plugging in the power (it boots from eMMC...?). 52. Hello, I am using the Armbian 22.08.2 Jammy with Linux 5.15.69-sunxi. When I issue "aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav" or "speaker-test -t wav" playback misses a few seconds from the beginning of the audio file. If I restart it immediately, I can hear the file playing correctly. Then I wait for a while, run it and the problem reappears. I read on this forum that people have had the same problem for years without finding a solution. Is there a solution or does anyone wise know what the problem is?

  53. Hello, I own several Orange Pi 3 which I bought at different times. The last batch couldn't run the firmware I used previously: the ethernet was broken. So I suspect there is a new ethernet chipset on it. Current Armbian (Armbian_22.08.1_Orangepi3_jammy_current_5.15.63) works on both types. I got a version with Allwinner H3 (which in my view is good) and also read through the H3 buyer's guide. According to that guide, the CPU should be sourced by 1.3V, but to my (positive) surprise, I measured only 1.15V at the output coil (after the coil and against GND, of course) of the SY8113 regulator. However, there's certainly something not working as expected from the schematics: both, the SY8113 and the SY8089 1.2V regulators (SYSTEM+CPU…
